02/7/2010 19:11 | "Results..... toward the lower end of market expectations" - Never helps the cause. | killieboy
01/7/2010 23:23 | Cannot see any negative news in the pre close update statement so surprised to see the share price fall as it has done. Profit marginally up from last year and with the new opening plans and success of their launch in LA, all looks extremely positive for the future. Good to see one of the directors (Graham Wilson) buying 30,000 shares today at 140p. Suggests that this is undoubtedly undervalued......... | gazza24
17/6/2010 09:01 | No idea why the sudden drop but topped up this morning at a price of 149 as think this is excellent value | gazza24
16/6/2010 18:35 | Going downhill rather quickly - any ideas? | killieboy
14/6/2010 23:43 | Hope so cupasoup. RNS was released on 08 June! | melody9999
10/6/2010 12:10 | Looks like they've finally opened in LA!!! | cupasoup2006
20/5/2010 10:48 | Bring on the World Cup and a decent (semi final) run for England - as long as they dont win it - couldnt stand another 40 years of ramping (being Scottish and jealous)!! | killieboy
18/5/2010 19:55 | Evening Standard tip today as per the below........... As JPMorgan's boffins predicted that England would be victorious in the World Cup, other analysts were looking at shares which could also be winners from the tournament. KBC Peel Hunt says that Goals Soccer Centres, the five-aside football centre owner, has seen a rise in corporate bookings as a result of the World Cup, although they warn: "The significance of the World Cup depends to a major extent on how long England last." KBC rates the shares a buy, and they rose 3p to 162½p. Target price 250p. | gazza24
10/5/2010 08:34 | Now the EPL is over, all eyes are on the world cup and football will be everywhere! | cupasoup2006
09/5/2010 16:35 | I did the same sailor boy john, will be interesting to see what way it goes tomorrow. Either way this share is hugely undervalued I feel and a great time to get back in...... Interesting article a week or so ago on the demise of 11 aside and the rapid and continuing rise of 5 aside. With Goals expansion plans as they are, all looks positive of the future | gazza24
07/5/2010 19:22 | Bought 4k@146 on the end of play dip. Didn't think I would see my target buy price of under 150 again | sailing john
05/5/2010 07:31 | according to Goals management they are expecting an increase based on previous WC's. | cupasoup2006
04/5/2010 23:28 | I'll drink to that cupasoup! Generally major sporting events increase the popularity of that sport. Yes people will want to watch the football.... but they will also want to play the game. | melody9999
29/4/2010 10:04 | Don't agree! Think only the Engalnd games will have an impact. If anything the World Cup should prove to be a big uplift for them as interst in football heightens. From the news stories I've read the management team say their experience is the WC is a big positive for them and that they benefit from it. Been through their website and seems to be a big emphasis on WC tournaments etc. I play at Goals and there is a lot of things planned around and during the world cup and I know we are playing in a "world cup" tournament! if anything, I think the WC will be a boost for them IMHO | cupasoup2006
29/4/2010 09:58 | My worry with this share is the business lost during the World cup with everybody at home or in pubs in the evenings watching the games. Between 6.30 pm and 10.30 pm are the peak times for Goals and I can see the pitches being desserted for most of June and part of July once World cup fever catches. Good time to get out now I think and then get back in later in the year once the WC is over | gazza24
29/4/2010 07:48 | From what i read, they are opening more sites this year than ever before. And World Cup round corner ..... !!! | cupasoup2006
28/4/2010 23:02 | KBC Peel Hunt advise BUY today and have set a 250p target. Yes please! Pilot opening in USA this quarter plus World Cup. | melody9999
23/4/2010 09:09 | sp sneaking up very nicely now - except on the ADVFN charts which seem to be a couple of days behind ! | melody9999
21/4/2010 20:26 | Melody - Thanks I will look into it but at the moment I am a bit overweight on oil holding BP. AMER, MOG, DGO and HAWK. | killieboy
20/4/2010 21:12 | Hi Killie - well I'm not sure of the reason for the fall but can only think it was the MMs manipulating the share price It certainly moves on very low volume ..... but I think we could be in for a good run with the World Cup exposure certain to increase over the next couple of months. O/T and completely different animal, but I am quite excited about GPK - been watching since 360p and finally bought at 520p - a lot of mileage to go yet I suspect. | melody9999
20/4/2010 15:52 | Melody - looks like you called it right - well done - let me know if you have anything else up your sleeve!!! | killieboy
16/4/2010 09:06 | really don't know Killieboy but on support now and seems set to bounce from here. fundamentally sound. looks a good entry point. | melody9999
07/4/2010 19:14 | Slippery slope here - anyone know why? | killieboy
31/3/2010 19:00 | Obviously need some more pitches - you wouldn't get Nestle running out of KitKats!! | killieboy |
