27/2/2008 15:26 | huge drop? any reason people? | sclothier
17/1/2008 19:53 | I reckon that when the results come out that they will be decent. Been to 1 of their centres tonight and it was heaving and all pitches were being played on and a few in the bar as well. | markys2
15/1/2008 18:04 | Look at thread titled "Goal-looks set to double from here". Charts up to date and chat until October or so. Good Company in a good market space- high barriers to entry, low ticket at this stage in the cycle. | free willy 2
15/1/2008 10:22 | Let's have some charts then.Thanks! | amla
14/1/2008 16:15 | Yes, ALL revenue streams performing well, and SIX new sites in operation by end 2008. Average spend per visit is only £5+, and customers are locked in to contracts lasting months. Don't see this as especially vulnerable to a downfall in consumer spending. | lobby ludd
14/1/2008 10:44 | Good statement from GOAL. | cupasoup2006
12/1/2008 14:40 | This company is highly geared, especially in respect to its continued roll out of pitches. Think the higher lending rates may have an effect on roll out going forward, especially with interest rates increasing for borrowinhg, just an opinion? | vaind
11/1/2008 11:02 | highly rated stock, held up relatively well to the aim/small cap sell off. people just taking money off the table. doubt it's anything to worry about. | jonesy79
10/1/2008 17:51 | Don't know but the chart recently has been scary! Why such a huge drop since Nov? | vaind
10/1/2008 13:08 | wot is going on here | rajbeers
06/12/2007 14:31 | Big slide in the share price of late. No news from the business. Reason ? | lobby ludd
25/10/2007 16:26 | ho knows. Don't think so though. | compo99
25/10/2007 16:25 | It spiked in mid July and fell right back. W | compo99
25/10/2007 16:04 | Something up ? | stephanie_m
12/10/2007 01:30 | This looks ready to make a substantial move higher (chartwise) imo. :-) | maximoney1
30/9/2007 00:05 | thanks freewill so approx 11.5 and then 15 seem to be it for eps making 26.6 PE ratio historic 15 months out at share price of £4 but with the scope for so many centres around the UK,and there must be scope for a multiple of those out there already then I do indeed like the long term look of this | nfs

24/8/2007 16:27 | Just read on Forbes .... Altium Securities analyst Wayne Brown shifted his stance on Goals Soccer Centres PLC to 'buy' from 'add' ahead of the interims. Brown believes there is potential for 200 football centres in the UK, which on current expansion rates, implies a further 13 years of (self-funded) growth. The analyst also believes that Goals' estate has not been adversely affected by the poor summer weather with no site closures or flood damage. Goals, he says, achieves high levels of profitability which result in a post tax cash return on capital of around 1.5 times greater that the weighted average cost of capital. Meanwhile, Brown predicts pretax profits of 2.9 mln stg for the six months to end-June 2007, up from 2.1 mln in the comparative period. | digitalinvestor
24/8/2007 10:27 | The Scotsman newspaper: (24 Aug 07) "Goals Soccer Centres was on the up after another broker made positive noises. Altium Securities upgraded the company to "buy" from "add" with a 440p price target, pushing the shares 8.75p higher to 355.5p." | cupasoup2006
22/8/2007 21:18 | Aviva cashing in some profits for cash! Alot of insurers are shifting funds away from equities. | vaind
21/8/2007 17:13 | Oh yes it does ! From 420p when you posted to 346p - in less than a month. Suspect the interims will show that they haven't escaped the hit that all outdoor businesses have taken from the weather this summer. | lobby ludd
23/7/2007 08:05 | look at the graph. dosent look like its going down fast | shazzybabes2
21/7/2007 12:19 | I see they have 3 new sites announced on their website | cupasoup2006 |
