All the listed bus companies are priced way below their long term average and median values.

This won't last as they are seen as structurally important for the UK as they represent the backbone of public transport and are significantly supported by local and national Uk government. And that quite aside from the fact that they have remained profitable throughout the pandemic.

It’s a weird one. If we compare it with SGC (using previous interim results) we get the following (high lvl view):

SGC bottom line: 4.4.
GOG bottom line: 16.2
SGC revenue: 454.6
GOG revenue: 2,070.2
SGC book value: -117.2
GOG book value: 250.6
SGC total debt: -1,720
GOG total debt: -1,776.2
SGC MC: 496m
GOG MC: 517m

I mean, this is a short SGC & long GOG play – even though GOG is in rolling stocks.

I hope it is an anomaly.

As someone said makes no sense as contracts underwritten by local government

Plus share price has not bested pre-vaccine share price highs posted in 2020. Has to be doing better since we have had the vaccine one would think.

Finally GOG has not incurred losses throughout this pandemic...it has made profits albeit at a reduced level

Should re-rate.

Have I made a mistake here? Just keeps falling. Should we sell before chart breaks down further.

CEO retiring is overkill. Should see this stock heading north of £13 in a week or 2 I reckon.

Buses are partially underwritten by contracts with local authorities which is hugely reassuring...

And then there is simply the fact that we all go back onto the buses in the end.

Surprisingly the price is still under the highs achieved last May in midst of pandemic before we had the vaccine. Logic says that with the vaccine and Covid in retreat we should be trading above the May 2020 price

The country is opening up. IMHO long way to go on these.

I agree June everything starts to open up and the buses keep moving. Big impact today but partly recovered.

I never take any notice of brokers they change rating to suit what their position is. When they have let their mates accumulate as many or sell as many as they want they will just change rating again to suit

This due a surge.

Still not bested price high in April/may 2020 before we had the vaccine.

Such sense gaps get filled.
