20/2/2014 09:36 | Trades today and price fall suggests that there is a sell note out - Anyone know and if so could you share details ? thanks in advance Chartwise if 60p breaks appears to me to be a gap down until next resistance at 40p Views.? . | pugugly
18/2/2014 16:12 | My biggest surprise with GTC is that once the share price got up to £1 (which I was quite surprised about), none of the directors sold into this share price strength. Unless the board chose to make it a closed period, it appears several directors who were very keen to sell some of their holdings much lower down, sold absolutely none when the share price was very much higher. | shanklin
18/2/2014 13:24 | They have stated that H1 revenue is £3m, a drop from £3.9m. The full year figure is anyone's guess. | rcturner2
18/2/2014 13:04 | Yes, I have been thinking about this and I have decided to exit (at the worst possible time no doubt). If the expected revenues for 2014 are £8.4 million, they only expect to grow revenues 10% from last year ( 2013: £8 million ). I would have expected some more growth. I thought that Globe II was on the way here:- and that reocurring revenues from globe would be enough to see quite a substantial increase in revenues for 2014. It seems this is not happening. Otherwise, why only a 10% revenue increase from last year? Management don't really have a track record of under promising and over delivering. What worries me is if they miss by revenues by 10% that will mean a circa 40% drop in profits ( 20% increase in revenues lead to an 80% increase in profits last year). Without any real clarity or confidence on the y/e figures, GTC becomes little more than a gamble for me. I had to weigh up the £4 million cash pile and stonking margins on the product against the lack of visibility on earnings. Tough one. Good luck to all here. I can't say with any certainty my decision is a good one. If they exceed £8.4 million, it will be game on for a big bounce. If they miss however... Comments welcome Best Stuart | stewy_18
18/2/2014 12:29 | I would hate to see the reaction after a real profits warning! | mpclag
17/2/2014 09:00 | Similar thoughts. | hastings
17/2/2014 08:56 | I think GTC have been careful to say that they have doubts about meeting expectations. Specifically they state: "On this basis, and subject to the conversion of a number of leads already in the sales pipeline, the Directors believe that the Company will still trade in line with expectations for the full year." So, large amounts of wriggle room should they miss. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
17/2/2014 08:38 | stewey: You beat me while composing Thanks. | pugugly
17/2/2014 08:36 | "a profit before tax substantially lower compared with the corresponding period last year (2013: GBP1.4m)." 30% FALL - Unless very significant improvement could (imo) have further to fall. Possibly run up too far on IC recommendations etc. Anyone any views on a fair value and p/e going forward ? | pugugly
17/2/2014 08:29 | OK, so they still expect to hit forecasts for year end. I have 6.13 earnings per share (based on £8.4 million sales) so at 75 pence they are probably priced about right. I (and the market) was expecting some more growth on top of this. Lumpy sales were supposed to be flattened out by Globe and Globe II. Problem with this company is visibility, so it is really hard to predict anything. In this market, the price got ahead of itself. In the RNS they say:- there is no reason to question the value proposition of our products and we remain optimistic that we will see further significant contracts coming through in the second half. We'll have to wait and see. | stewy_18
17/2/2014 08:04 | all that delay for a profit warning :) | mpclag
12/2/2014 18:58 | Anyone got the any brokers notes for estimates this year. S t o c k o p e d i a say revenues of £8.4 million. Anyone got anything different? Many thanks Stuart | stewy_18
12/2/2014 17:40 | Don't think it is due DT, there was one last year, but from memory - not the year before - suggests things are broadly in line... | trident5
12/2/2014 16:18 | Well I've thought about trading GTC after rises to 60,80, 100 but decided against due to the spread and the fact that when it moves up the inevitable "step" down is never as great. I've been happy to hold until the results indicate the situation has changed , so far patience has been rewarded ..... but it would be nice to get that update that's due. | dragonsteeth
30/1/2014 09:30 | Volatile. People trying to trade around the trading update that hasn't come? | stewy_18
22/1/2014 14:37 | 24th January last year so should be any day now. Regards. | muckshifter

10/1/2014 12:02 | My divi reinvestment converted to shares by HL today , every little bit helps although they seem o be a bit slow on the purchase. Nice divi and capital gains, looks good to me. | dragonsteeth
06/1/2014 10:51 | switched out half my holding from GTC into EMR EMR breaking out mammoth director buy recently | mandingo6
26/12/2013 17:27 | No problems Fruit, share price would halve in 2014 if I'd have nominated it :-0 | dragonsteeth |
