I agree...Great news....This was one reason why Kurdistan was basically a basket case from an investment PoV. So Dana Gas and The KRG settling is very important to general sentiment. Could well have been putting off any majors doing future corporate deals...But now, well time will tell. IMO

Dana news re-confirmed along with regularization of outstanding amounts and regular payment that KRG means business lately.... great news for independent O&G here and it's a very convincing welcome for majors who are shopping around.

Resolving long standing debts and the like will do a power of good in respect of how attractive the KRG is perceived by potential partners.

I will settle for this price rise every day. Most satisfactory. Brent is improving as I type at $51.73

Once this hits 170p there will be no stopping as everyone will want to get in for the £3 push. IMO

With an abundance of trade volume / liquidity today a 4p spread is certainly strange?!

Some interesting videos about technology disruption for all who like to sleep easy with their oil investments:

I guess they will pay it all off before the year is out and watch the share price really rocket.

Not in the slightest. TA is a major part of investing. The outstanding fundamentals here back up your target price.

OK this will sound absurd but for those who believe in TA, I don't see any serious resistance up to 6 quid.

LoL!

Realise things won't happen overnight but that last rns added million usd over 5 years for zero cost. If oil or. Production or both rise it's even more... we have risen 30p. Bonds are at a premium 'they' know the value. I think one of the problems is every time someone pushes the buy button it flys ten percent. Get on with it though chaps :)

They are moving this all over the place.. Good volume .. Remember less than 20% free float here chaps, they need to play games to get stock.

Brent is a tad soft at $51.52 which slightly holds us back.

Looks like they're short of shares, trying for stops by the look of it, nasty bleeders.

Our share price is much to do with the market waking up to the actual true value of the company which was hugely assisted by the KRG settlement.

The news in the 'pipeline' is gas of course. We will get news sometime between now and Xmas in a promised H2 update on the negotiations towards development of 11.4 TCF plus 100% owned gas assets.

There is little in the share price YET , imo, regarding value addition from these assets.

IF development is to go ahead there will revealing finance agreements . When they are announced the market will get a better handle on GENL's true worth.
I expect that GENL would be issuing bonds if there is a definite 'GO'

Is this just GENL catching up with DNO or is there further news in the 'pipeline'?
