12/6/2019 07:39 | Certainly very optimistic in the outlook: "Finally, we are especially pleased with our financial performance to date, building on the momentum achieved during the first quarter, during which we generated record revenues. All the Company's operational KPI's continue to trend positively and therefore remain excited by the potential for the remainder of the year, starting with the imminent launch of Parx Casino in Pennsylvania. "In conclusion, 2018 was a pivotal year for GAN, and we firmly believe 2019 will be another year of tremendous operational and financial progress and I look forward to updating shareholders with our financial results for the first half of the current financial year in due course." | rivaldo
12/6/2019 07:38 | Positive statement.baically though wait for half year update.it will be about very high % increase in revenue to create share price movement upwards. Any potential buyers of company will want to keep price as low as possible.any bids will appear after september imho , before traction really takes place in markets. | longwell
12/6/2019 07:37 | Very positive. No mention of the strategic review or patent litigation. | busterdog2
12/6/2019 07:26 | That's more like it...upbeat and clear about the opportunities ahead | molatovkid
12/6/2019 07:23 | Wow- an AGM statement ! Perhaps GAN really ARE learning. Lol | mip55
12/6/2019 07:22 | AGM statement London & Dublin - June 12, 2019: GAN plc ("GAN" or the "Company"), an award-winning developer and supplier of enterprise-level B2B Internet gambling software, services and online gaming content in the United States, will hold its Annual General meeting today at noon today at 20 Warwick Street, London W1B 5NF. At the meeting GAN's Chief Executive Officer, Dermot Smurfit, will make the following statement: "Since last year's AGM, GAN has been firmly focused on taking advantage of the incremental U.S. Internet sports betting opportunity which we launched online in New Jersey in September 2018. Since launch, sports betting has driven substantial increases in our clients' revenues, in which GAN participates. We also prepared to launch Internet gambling in Pennsylvania for the largest retail operator, Parx Casino, as well as extending our relationship with FanDuel Group, the U.S. arm of Flutter Entertainment plc (formerly Paddy Power Betfair plc) to rapidly deploy our Platform in selected additional U.S. States. 2018 was clearly therefore a pivotal year for GAN. "Since the beginning of 2019, we have witnessed the rapid and accelerating regulation of Internet gambling in other U.S. States including Montana, Indiana, Iowa, Tennessee and Illinois. Today, fifty-eight million (58M) Americans, representing nearly twenty percent (20%) of the entire U.S. population now have legislation in place permitting one or more forms of Internet gambling. Furthermore, Industry analysts believe more than half of all Americans will be permitted to gamble online as a result of accelerating incremental State-by-State regulation within just a few more years. "This regulatory driver obviously creates a unique opportunity for GAN to leverage years of investment developing and optimizing its best-in-class technology and provides an environment to maximize the equity value of its unique U.S. industry position as a truly unique enterprise software technology Platform enabling regulated intra-State online gambling across America. "Finally, we are especially pleased with our financial performance to date, building on the momentum achieved during the first quarter, during which we generated record revenues. All the Company's operational KPI's continue to trend positively and therefore remain excited by the potential for the remainder of the year, starting with the imminent launch of Parx Casino in Pennsylvania. "In conclusion, 2018 was a pivotal year for GAN, and we firmly believe 2019 will be another year of tremendous operational and financial progress and I look forward to updating shareholders with our financial results for the first half of the current financial year in due course." | metis20
11/6/2019 21:12 | Now it seems there's a chance NY could offer mobile as it's just been amended in the bill. No guarantees but you could barely pick a sector with so much action at the moment! | noujay
11/6/2019 20:35 | Well if you consider Fanduel have market access deal via Boyd then that's the broad link for say Iowa, Tennessee and Illinois in terms of dragging GAN along with them. What I am particularly interested in is whether GAN can translate simulated gaming deals with casinos into real money. They did with Parx but they haven't with Turning Stone for example (NY tribal owned casino which is with Caesars if I remember right although GAN run their social). If it doesn't translate there seems little point in GAN putting any resources into simulated given the obvious revenues being generated by real money. | noujay
11/6/2019 20:16 | Nice noujay - strong position going into the AGMNeed to know which casinos they are linked to really and in which states | trentendboy
11/6/2019 18:29 | I'll post something up tomorrow afterwards, assuming anything worth mentioning! | noujay
11/6/2019 18:07 | Can't make it but look forward to hearing your take on it. | waterloo01
11/6/2019 18:02 | Any feedback from the AGM would be much appreciated | busterdog2
11/6/2019 17:59 | Will be yes | noujay
11/6/2019 17:49 | Are you going? | waterloo01
11/6/2019 17:23 | For sure, they'd have to. Absent that though I am hoping for some general commentary may offer some insight at the agm | noujay
11/6/2019 17:11 | Would have thought would get an RNS tomorrow if they were going to say anything at the AGM that's price sensitive. | waterloo01
11/6/2019 16:53 | I agree it does and it would outwardly seem that it already is judging by the increase in cash position.Hopefully there will be something to glean from the AGM tomorrow afternoon, whether it be regarding current operational performance or their plans for the business (albeit they will hardly be able to answer direct questions on that). | noujay
11/6/2019 16:48 | Very positive on Gan but all this news needs to add to the bottom line, scale and profit are what will move Gan forward.Still sceptical.Have a large holding and really hoping to not get burned this time. | longwell
11/6/2019 16:20 | GAN just tweeted this with the comment that it offered a great read across for their business:https://www | noujay
11/6/2019 15:08 | Tioga Downs is the tie to Fanduel - owned by the same people as Meadowlands in NJ | noujay
11/6/2019 14:32 | Good stuff, here the link. As a result of the ruling sports wagering is to be permitted at four upstate properties, namely Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, Rivers Casino in Schenectady, del Lago Casino near Rochester and Tioga Downs near Binghamton, in addition to tribal casinos across the region. | igoe104
11/6/2019 13:59 | Excellent news, Noujay and mylands, cheers. | rivaldo
11/6/2019 09:49 | Result of New York Gaming Commission vote on Sports Betting: The New York Gaming Commission today unanimously approved rules and regulations for licensing, opening and operating sports betting facilities across Upstate New York. Another brick in the wall. Still over 75% of the states to pass sports betting legislation. | mylands
11/6/2019 08:35 | Completely unsure to be honest - I am not convinced a sale is the real objective at this point with so much happening, unless it's for a high premium.Perhaps will get an update tomorrow | noujay
10/6/2019 19:15 | This is looking particularly interesting. What do folk expect from 'formal sales process'. Rarely much discussion on that, given they are about to update on where they are with that. No offers? Loads of interest and in a beauty parade? Given recent news flow and the 'hotness' of the sector, I hope for the 2nd. 3 month ago | waterloo01 |
