130+ today hopefully its sustainable.
Sellers may bail out at this price we may see another dip but very hopeful for the future of GFRD

One has now exceeded portfolio percentage for GFRD.

It is a blue start but as with everything stock market related it is a game of patience.

Indeed it is a good contract.

A trading statement would do much to set the record straight!

Some +ve numbers here will set it on fire - And I reckon they don't need to be massively +ve - just indicative of good management.

Wins this year do give a solid underpining..

HMG will need to spend big on infrastructure after this Covid shutdown is over.
Just to kick start the economy.

GFRD with its modest market cap of £261m could do well going forward.

After the split I relocated 50;50 between VTY and GFRD.
I like the potential of both.

If one looks at the contracts they got since the start of 2020, it is excellent if one considers the economic situation everywhere.

We cannot talk about margins in the midst of a pandemic while people are either on furlough or working from home. A contract during these hard times is a big plus and a show of confidence. We should not extrapolate what the world is experiencing today to a normal working environment. So I am pleased they are getting work.

they can never finish a project on time to budget.
margins would be ok if they could.

Seems to mean little these days, think market wants to see evidence of margin improvement in these civil constructors, it is fed up with exceptionals and additional costs relating to projects. The bete-noire of the industry!

Idiot running this company needs to get a statement out, a lack of an update not acceptable.

From the Jan RNS"As previously highlighted, the Group expects performance to be weighted to the second half of the financial year due to both market uncertainty and the settlement of certain claims in the first half of the year."I think the new Co will go well - doing work for the government is safe as houses (excuse the pun- and now the Tories have had to rediscover Keynesian economics all the better

Difficult company to value since the splitting off of the housing arm. Needs a Trading Update as new Co I think. According to this link they were 12th out of 100 in contract wins for the year to May with £800m+ but that would include the ex housing arm for most of the yearhttps://www.constructionenquirer.com/contract-spy/top-contractors-league/

One step forward, two steps back.
It looks like the seller has not yet finished.

Crazy times, with too many short term buyers around.
It shows a lack of market confidence.

All you need here is the patience of a Saint.

Getting ready for an uplift soon.......

DDDD.

It was looking positive at the start of June as were the majority of shares.
A lot of other shares are starting to rise, They need a big contract win to hopefully give it a boost! But doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon. Hold for now

If it flags up any business activity improvement, the share price will fly from here.
We saw it happened with many other stocks (DLAR, BNZL etc.).

Looks like it might close that gap from when it listed as the new GFRD without Linden, 100p on the cards?

have not followed this stock but what a horrendous fall it had . Is it solvent as
looking at previous years financials is meaningless I guess ? If so, quite
tempted to edge in !
