I was off the impression this was well-capitalised, if you think it will go that low why have you been advocating purchasing the stock, either you believe it is a buy or the opposite, you cannot be in both camps. I have heard too many on this thread touting this , and then switch corners. It is prevalent throughout on boards here, no wonder investing in shares is such a poor way to generate returns. Best to stay with pharmas and food retailing, dull but consistent!

Hardly reassuring, but some erroneous facts maybe, I never really trust people with some supposed or sentimental association with a company, like listening to stable lads in a racing yard giving you a tip. They do not have the analytical brainpower to figure out how the horse might be working, work riders sometimes, but nonetheless they all seem to believe they no otherwise because they think they know, rarely the case. I am disappointed by the performance here, many of their projects must be Back up and running, but then I do not know for sure. Still it seems well-capitalised, but I see the Govt. dragging its feet on the so-called back to some sense of normality. Friggin useless, but I am starting to question my own judgment here by buying in!

Likewise, I know somebody who communicates with folk in their Hinckley office, where Galliford itself is based, he keeps extolling the virtues of the company, mentioned that some staff might be concerned about contract cancellations, but yet they are generally positive on the company and believe it is undervalued on the basis of its balance sheet post linden disposal. My view is that much of their work is for local council projects, which are essentially backed up by the Govt., and they have stated their revenue for current year 92% booked, whether that means guaranteed is another matter. But then I read that one of the core aims of Govt. is that infrastructure is essential for the economy going forward, so one has to assume that they will not be jeopardised. So one has to be hopeful that these moves are just the usual trajectory whereby the company is in a trading range. Hocking seemed positive at last T/S, albeit non-committal on projections.
