Great shame as the sector offers lots of opportunities but management has been poor.

Could there be an imminent bid for Fulcrum Utility to take it private , or break it up ?

Bayford Co and Mills seem to have positioned themselves into very strong positions to carve up as they see fit .

Jonathon Turner/Bayford now up to 26.7% and Mills/Harwood Capital at 28.8%

Given Bayford had previously attempted to take private something seems to be in the offing . add to this the three directors finally buying shares in the recent placing .

Fulcrum is in a good sector for sure and some conspiracy theorists might argue there has been a concerted effort to batter the share price down , then do a large fund raising to get yet more shares on the cheap and then a little nudge at the end to takes it private at a very good price ?

As Hannibal said in the A team / Bayford says to Mills ??

"I love it when a plan comes together "

Looked over this a few times and it screams 16p to me in the relatively near term.
Bought a fair few as a new holder, not part of the offer.

I do expect some debt news and some sort of loan note offered that will have income associated and possibly the ability to convert some to equity annually. Have been involved in similar in the past and achieved a good return. This has the hallmarks to raise the cash for acquisitions.

No.
I very much expect there to be a rationislisation of debt with holders offered the chance to take part and thereby help avopid tax too. Read the offer docs thoroughly. Mentions more efficienct debt and increased corporate taxes. When time is right FCRM likely to be sold on but not until re-built into a cash generative corp.

If they do go private it would be >> 12p imho. DYOR etc.

Harwood+Bayford now > 50%The final piece of the plan is in place. Once a few contracts announced, the outlook is clearer, any low ball bid from them will only need another 15-20% of other shareholders to accept. The downside is if they decided to take it private and delist. Calamity for PIs.

If you can't beat them, join them. Harwood appear determined to make money out of this one way or another.

Glad to see Harwood will have a larger holding than Bayford post offer.

Ever since Harrison left after Blackrock dumped their c £6 million holding it has not been the same
U boys wont remember - but the Coy paid divis.
I believe Turner bought a lot of Blackrock.
The aim of Turner was to use the Dunamis ability to install EV points.
Without Harrison Harris was appointed CFO - months only b4 the Chair went together with the CEO. Harris was appointed CEO
Harris left abruptly and a rag bag of a board was assembled.
Then Lavelle - a restructuring guy was appointed.
Still think this goes ur way?
It was all there in RNSs for those able to read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look over the history of 2 different companies.

CRX and SBS. Made money out of both. CRX loan notes and sold on, SBS taken private with Harwood and reflected later.

Buys at the right price paid back well enough. Very well for CRX and acceptably for SBS.
FCRM has some similarities to me - I have been wrong in the past so dyor etc.

Delisting and massive dilution fears will have meant many avoided committing new cash

Probably wasn't the best time of year to tap people up! Christmas Presents etc or FCRM shares!? you have to wonder sometimes who comes up with this stuff..

Surprised only 1.2 out of the 6.0 possible maximum open offer has been taken up. Looks like many big holders didn't see value? I guess the other rub is that it was trading at 12.5p mid price I'm the days leading up to the end, so the discount on offer was miniscule.

Of course there is. 12p placing ? Who's ideas was that? Work out the average paid by the majors. We have been shafted but bottom in and big gains from here and soon.

Average daily volume over past 3 months has been about 648K and to lower prices.

Today is 2x average daily and to the upside on price on not a good day for the market.

Thoughts?

They don't need to rule the world, just show some competence and this can move up enough to make it a worthwhile punt. Stranger things have happened.

The 12p offer needed to be priced low given the track record but after a bit of digging I reckon there's new life in this old mutt.

Let's see. Someone bought a fair few today.

I do remember Source Bio going private with Harwood as one of the parties, I made a little out of that. Half the fun is finding out "what next".

The key - Can they buy, build and supply at a profit? Not been able to for the last few years it seems - where did all the asset sale cash go?

You will soon see when they take the Coy private. They did not have the % before but now do.
Then you will be looking for a purchaser on Bricdat platform. GL with that!

There will be (is) demand for what they offer & likely to increase. There are also consolidation opportunities.

Question is can they buy, build & supply at a profit.

I took part in the fundraising - had too to avoid the dilution - but only have a small holding and smallest in my pot (my only AIM stock) so not bothered if all went wrong tbh.

But here's hoping they've turned a corner. GLA.

I would tend to agree and then issue of some new debt possibly in the form of collaterased loan notes for aquisition(s). If you camt beat them, join them.
