I'm surprised it wasn't an outright acquisition by Harwood and Bayford.But at least they're participating heavily in this. Does it take them over 30%? I haven't done the maths yet as I have decided to hold and take up my open offer entitlements here, so have decided to analyse fully later on.If they go over 30% they don't necessarily need to make an offer. If the BOD votes that they don't need to, and also if the regulator agrees a waiver. But they would have tried to secure that before this placing announced. So if its not in the pack then they don't expect to be over 30%.

Other interested parties can get in touch direct with Cenkos and partake IF they wish to - if others don't, mills and co will do up to £18.5 million of new shares - is this the point ?

What at 12p ?You saying this is a takeover approach at 12p - placing structured in a way that they take it over ?

Will bayford and mills taking new shares trigger a bid situation ?What stakes will they have (combined) after this event ?With it without existing shareholders taking up the measly open offer ?

It was Alan until vultures wanted a bit of it.
The chair ran things until link to mills was revealed and Daren Harris went from CFO to CEO - and abruptly left when the gang arrived.
A generic BOD without a clue.
Guess none takes up the shares - turner buys - takes if private - takes Dunamis expertise and then tries to flog the rest.

What a shame, it seems like such a great niche business. Maybe this was Mills master plan, post terrible results for a year or two, buy it on the cheap when the price plunges and only then turn it around

Are they gonna beef up / replace BOD ? This is gonna become a bigger sprawling business. Dugdale only taking £20k worth of new shares ?But at least he's offered the placing stock direct unlike long suffering shareholders - bit of a mixed taste in my mouth here.

Cash conversion has been awful, cash flow terrible, of course they needed more cash. A little surprised Mills is sticking with them, what does he see in a negative cashflow business?

Big dilution for existing shareholders even if take basic 22% extra shares offered.More control results obviously for Bayford and Mills - odd they haven't just bid outright for it which was the expectation.Maybe just maybe they see a brighter future post acquisitions they clearly going to make. Seems they gonna back it for what I assume is meaningful upside.

Just got that RNS, never got around to cancelling after I sold, thought 12p must be a mistake?

What the heck happened? I thought it was a solid little business, only sold because I thought further upside was limited

Some positive interest today 193k buy , some stock around but liquid on both sides now which was not present before

Christopher Mills normally gets what he wants and brings in the right people to run the business. The CEO and CFO don't look and sound like they are up to the task at hand in my view, but time will tell. This is not an easy business to run and it now has its hands in too many different things, so probably even more of a challenge. The whole business needs a major re-focus and sharpening up. Christopher Mills is a master at such value driven opportunities. I suspect Harwood might take it private though and the offer price will not be generous.

CFO new - CEO relatively new COO
Unsallow flavour given that Turner provided the digital smart meter contract.
I have commented on LSE that I think Turner wants Dunamis (what was or part of it the high energy) for his for his forecourts.
With Lavelle in place looks like a split/ demerger - Turner gets what he wants.
Think also that the unwise new crew may not have realised that construction materials are way above those of six months ago.
Just my thought. Would not re enter without clarification.
BTW - Mills was only in it for the money - so his lot on the Board together with the newly assembled will hardly propel the business
