15/6/2021 18:31 | Thanks for the update sl71 Perhaps be nice if they put out an RNS to that effect so everybody knew where they stand. I'm sure that's why share price keeps ticking down. On other hand perhaps they don't mind that as then they can tuck in cheaper.. | carpingtris

10/6/2021 23:04 | I have commented on this elsewhere. FCRMs recent contract win from Bayford: 320,000 meter points & 80,000 meter exchanges will return an expected profit of £20m over 5 years. So lets call that 400,000 'units' for the sake of some basic maths. £20m over 5 years will be £4m a year. £4m a year divided by the 400,000 units = £10/unit/year profit on each. Not far off being given away. By comparison: SMS last contract win on 3 March 21. 20,000 meters returning a net £2m annually. £2m divided by 20,000 = £100/meter/year. Remember Bayford is owned by Turner. Turner is a major shareholder of FCRM and that bought him a place on the BoD. Turner has used FCRM to deliver the smart meters on the cheap for his own energy company 'E'. You need to ask yourself why FCRM, a company specialising in designing, building and installing civil engineering Electric and Gas Infrastructure is suddenly getting involved in domestic meters. It simply does not make sense. | pip56
10/6/2021 18:49 | Doesn't there have to be an update within a certain timeframe?? I like the contract win news Etc but am wondering about a trading statement of sorts. | carpingtris
10/6/2021 18:29 | The trading statement and EOY Results were due on 30 March. They were not published and FCRM were asked (by e-mail) why they were delayed and when they would be released. FCRM replied the Trading Statement would be published at the end of April. They weren't and so FCRM was again asked where they were. FCRM replied the BoD were 'discussing the content of the RNS'. 2 months later and still no results have been published, the financial calendar is blank and no explanatory RNS has been released. Smells rotten so I jumped ship. This could be a COVID related delay. You might wish to DYOR and ask FCRM what is going on. | pip56
