pip56: I have commented on this elsewhere. FCRMs recent contract win from Bayford: 320,000 meter points & 80,000 meter exchanges will return an expected profit of £20m over 5 years. So lets call that 400,000 'units' for the sake of some basic maths. £20m over 5 years will be £4m a year. £4m a year divided by the 400,000 units = £10/unit/year profit on each. Not far off being given away. By comparison: SMS last contract win on 3 March 21. 20,000 meters returning a net £2m annually. £2m divided by 20,000 = £100/meter/year. Remember Bayford is owned by Turner. Turner is a major shareholder of FCRM and that bought him a place on the BoD. Turner has used FCRM to deliver the smart meters on the cheap for his own energy company 'E'. You need to ask yourself why FCRM, a company specialising in designing, building and installing civil engineering Electric and Gas Infrastructure is suddenly getting involved in domestic meters. It simply does not make sense.
pip56: The trading statement and EOY Results were due on 30 March. They were not published and FCRM were asked (by e-mail) why they were delayed and when they would be released. FCRM replied the Trading Statement would be published at the end of April. They weren't and so FCRM was again asked where they were. FCRM replied the BoD were 'discussing the content of the RNS'. 2 months later and still no results have been published, the financial calendar is blank and no explanatory RNS has been released. Smells rotten so I jumped ship. This could be a COVID related delay. You might wish to DYOR and ask FCRM what is going on.
carpingtris: any ideas on when the next trading statement might turn up? resumption of small divi might also help?
jl5006: Just my thoughts Daren quit as CEO - Dugdale in place in name only CFO a novice Chair a complete novice No RNS - Y NO PR Jumptech software link up for domestic EV. Nothing for shareholders just asset sale cash to fund EV - as Phil said a special divi at least. Phil gone - Daren gone - at the mercy of the sharks - bound to have ppl in BOD places - Anyone -?? something is not going the way for PIs
scubadiverr: Mystified by the recent significant drop in the valuation. The company has a great deal to offer mid to long term, as well as that long promised special dividend
jl5006: I hope uncle phil will let us have a spec divi once the H1 results come out in Dec.
walterwhite1: Yeah I hear you carp I held up until a couple of months back. FCRM is very much a long term play. I got bored too and sold out once I broke even at 32p. Was sitting on a hefty loss for far too long.
carpingtris: Hopefully now an agreement is in place and tender offer has gone away it'll be onwards and upwards. Looking forward to some results.. whenever they'll be. A return to Divi paying would also be very welcome where most have cut or suspended them.. that would be a big tick. Time will tell.
walterwhite1: Yes I spotted that trade over 2 million shares. Not good as far as I’m concerned - unless it’s Harwood selling. If he gets his fat hands on Fcrm for the tender price I’ll be livid.
solarno lopez: Chris Mills can see value in FCRM bear that in mind when you sell !
