Mark its worth watching some of the updated you tube footage from IGN.

The dev build is a more advanced on than featured during march -plenty of punters excited about the number of dinosaurs at 40+ and the music and voiceovers etc. Smoother animations and improved AI etc all look good.

Also I know everyone can check for themselves but in the UK steam top sellers page JWE currently at number 5. Looking really good imo.

I think your estimate is perfectly possible nimbo. It is just so hard to predict though, it could be significantly less or significantly more. The games market is very fickle. However, with the positive reception to the JWE previews and how the pre-orders of the game look to have performed in the Steam chart top sellers list things are certainly looking good. Personally I feel that the current share price is going to be well underpinned. I would be disappointed if we're not above £20 by Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised if we're much higher than that but we'll see.

JWE now at number 12 on steam.

The 4th title was in development back in Feb. And the 5th was in pre development. The Tencent money has allowed them to tool up to release 1 a year. (takes c. 2 years to make?)

Worth noting though costs don't have to rise from here, a bit but not much. i.e. company running costs could (finger in the air) reach £40 million p.a or a bit higher. So the operational gearing is high.

Wonder what the share price will be if FDEV do more than £100 mil revenue for their next financial year. JWE could make that happen and it would mean they are currently trading on a forward PE less than 10. Assuming everything goes to plan this could do 2-3x your money from here within c.12 months imo. Any alternative views to that?

Website update looks good. hxxps://www.frontier.co.uk/about-us

And although mentioned before here is some more text from a vacancy. The last paragraph has my attention!

Frontier is looking for a Principal Animation Systems Programmer to take a leading role in the development of an upcoming AAA title. You will work with programmers, animators and technical artists to take our in-house animation technology to a new level, and help us to stay at the forefront of visual quality in games. This is a very high profile franchise, which enjoys a global fanbase, and you can expect to be involved from the ground up in making a title that everyone will be talking about when the time comes. You will need to bring both player and non-player characters to life in a large and varied environment, and to do this you will have the exciting remit to explore a range of technologies, including current and next generation systems for procedural and physically driven animation, and leverage those that are most appropriate.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

In return we offer a reward package to attract the best including a competitive salary, private healthcare for you and your family, and a range of flexible benefits from which you can select to suit your needs. You’ll share in the success that you help to deliver through a generous company bonus scheme and share scheme participation, including a significant equity grant (through a Long Term Incentive Plan). If required, we can also offer support with re-relocation including a minimum relocation allowance of £5000 (tax free). Check out the benefits section on our website for further details on our total reward package.

Frontier is a studio with a long, successful and varied history of AAA development and this is an exciting time to join us, following our move to self publishing, and the breakout successes of Elite: Dangerous and Planet Coaster. We're expecting Jurassic World: Evolution to continue our story; it's already one of the most anticipated games of 2018. You would be working on an unannounced project which promises to be equally exciting. If that sounds interesting, why not contact us for an informal chat or apply on-line?

Wow. I'm surprised, but pleased, that it is that high up the chart when we're still over 5 weeks away from launch. Looking good.

Nice - from the FT:

"● Citigroup started coverage of Frontier Developments, the video game developer, with a “buy” rating and £15.40 price target. Consensus forecasts have “significantly understated the revenue contribution” from Jurassic World Evolution ahead of its release in mid-June, said Citi. It modelled for the game to deliver £70m of sales in the financial year ending 2019, which would deliver a 30 per cent upgrade to consensus earnings forecasts."

And:

"Jurassic World Evolution

It just has to be on the list of the best upcoming games. The title will be released for the PS4, Windows 10 PC, and Xbox One. Developed by Frontier Developments, the game will allow you to place yourself at the heart of the Jurassic franchise. You can bio-engineer dinosaurs that feel and think. You’ll get to build and manage your own Jurassic World. Even more interesting is that Jeff Goldblum will provide a lot of voice-over for the title."

I think it was the Citi coverage, though I topped up earlier in the week as it had been rangebound and the launch of JWE gets closer by the day. Franchise 4 is also going to be a catalyst for more coverage and directors had been buying at 13.50 not long ago. Something had to give, and having been rangebound for months, if we can break out it should go a long way north.

Wondered what had disturbed the share price ping-pong ennui of recent months. With a serious investment bank finally on board this story should soon receive the adulation it surely deserves.

Definitely not showing on the top ten pages of the list with my PC. Strange. Maybe as my PC is on a German IP address even though I'm physically in the UK. Planet Coaster was at number 1 for a while after launch so I fully expect JWE to be there too.

Nice to see the Citigroup target, probably explains today's uptick. Hope it holds.

Mark its on page 4 now of the global bestsellers list. Obviously it moves around a lot - yesterday it was at 25 at one stage - just pointing out its nice to see it up there sometimes - on release we want to see it on page 1.

Thanks Rivaldo - thats great to see. Imagine Citigroup have larger reader base than fincapp, no disrespect intended.

The problem comparing with Planet Coaster is that Planet Coaster was available in alpha and beta form to the public well before the main launch.

I can't see it on the top 10 pages at the moment. Strange.

I don't think the pre-order bonus is up to much for JWE, a couple of skins isn't particularly tempting.

Will be interesting to see how the pre-orders look once FDEV ramp up the marketing. Since their event a few weeks ago it has been very quiet from them other than the species videos.
