Christ, what's happened here then? Does the film look sh*te? Does the game look sh&te? Did TenCent sell their stake? Or is it just low vlume manipulation? ???

Stopped out here today for a pretty nasty 20% loss. Not going to get back in any time soon I don't think but I wish all holders luck. Terrible timing - take the lesson and move on!

"Video games market proves to be a serious business

Britain’s video games industry is booming with the market expanding by more than 12 per cent last year to reach a record £5.1 billion.

In defiance of a dip in consumer spending, revenue rose in consoles and VR headsets as well as digital and mobile software.

UK Interactive Entertainment, the games industry trade body that compiled the figures, said that rapid growth was being driven by innovation and “world-class content for an ever-expanding eager audience.”

Game software, the largest part of the market, experienced sales growth of 8.3 per cent to £3.56 billion, while sales of games hardware rose by more than 25 per cent to £1.4 billion.

The latter was largely driven by console sales, which contributed to nearly all games hardware revenue, as players invested in new machines including the Nintendo Switch, PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Virtual reality gaming also continued to make headway this year, with consumers spending more than £100 million on headsets for the first time.

Jo Twist, chief executive at UKIE, said: “It’s been another year of growth for the games industry with UK consumers demonstrating they have a strong appetite for what our innovative and creative sector makes.

“The games sector is constantly innovating and investing in new experiences, technologies and the skilled people to make an ever more compelling and diverse range of games, bringing tremendous value for money to consumers year on year.”

Hi nimbo, there's another turn on the Last Market Price based chart 6-7/3/2018

I guess after the good rise in sp, there are II's re-balancing their £holdings and taking profit here and elsewhere, before the end of the financial year.

It's probably worth keeping the various support levels in mind during this retrace.

The longer term outlook is still good, assuming the general market remains stable!

L2 much stronger into the close tonight. If markets Improve and sellers are cleared out we could finally have the turn day tomorrow bamboo! What do you think? Your comments about potential head and shoulders were interesting - I expect everyone would buy there meaning we won’t quite reach that price. That’s my hope anyway.

Hard to know in these markets. You need conviction to hold onto things at the moment in the ‘growth arena’. good opportunity imo but then I’m probably displaying confirmation bias!

I also added last week which now seems like it was a little early.
Very surprised to see it made it all the way back below £11 today.
Wonder if that was the final shakeout before the next move up starts.

Another load for me at 11.35. All looking shakey bamboo. But still think I’ll be sognificantly richer in 6 months or a year. Not like there’s massive volumes on offer or any insti selling so far.

In common with many other shares, the chart pattern here is starting to look like a Head and Shoulders. Confirmed with an eod close below approx. 1130, tp is back down on historical support approx 950. :-0

I notice that the PRO real time charts that generate auto trendlines have potential apex based turns falling between today and tomorrow. Mid price charts show a potential turn yesterday/today.

To be honest i am not sure. Almost all of the trades going through are AT which is the computers at work. These are for tiny quantities like 8 or 50 shares etc. There are very few ordinary trades here direct from the market from the likes of you and I. Thats why FDEV is prone to such large spikes (in both directions) because when excessive buying or selling comes in there is no orderly market in the 'traditional' sense. I hope when JWE is released and more interest arrives liquidity will improve for both buyers and sellers.

Hi nimbo, thanks for the post. You have confirmed my experience that despite all the so called sells, that have led to a lower price, there is just no liquidity.

Just how is this possible? Have the sells not really been sold to mm's?

I have been trading this stock a long time, but have always struggled!

I just tried again to buy while the spread was 12.25-12.30, most I could get a quote for was 10. lol.

hi bamboo, price is being walked down on small shown sell side volume. Currently there are 319 shares to buy below £12.40. Which is why you cant buy in any volume. And there are only a further 768 shares available below 12.65. WINS are currently on the bid at 12.25. I think we need news to bring back some liquidity from buyers and sellers. Ive just put in an order for some at 12.30 and will let you know if it gets filled.

This afternoon is another good example of market obscurity. I can see the spread, currently £12.25-12.30.

I am happy to buy a reasonable amount of shares at £12.30, but I can't get an autoquote for 50, let alone 500.

This is despite the balance of 'sells' to 'buys' being approx 16074 to 2622. Where are nearly 14,000 shares?

If people like me can't buy, it's no wonder the price has dropped!

edit added, Also quite annoying to see others seemingly able to buy at these prices.

maurice, I am unsure. If there is an order in place to buy a certain amount, will the trades be reported on an ongoing basis, or once the order is complete?
