The price of Silver is being kept down at present. When this price manipulation brakes this share will explode in line with Gold increase . We will NOT have to wait 3 years for it to reach 20 pounds or so a share. PAY BACK is coming for those who have held this share for some years and experiencing massive red percentage drops. The brave held on and will be rewarded including me

$2696/£2076/MXN53,762 are new highs for gold yet again. Silver just popped its head over $32 but thought better of it.

Silver futures doing a little better this week. Dec 26 is $34.75 and Dec 28 is $35.65. Both are only about $1 off May highs and $10+ above Q1 lows.

It feels like they are working very hard behind the scenes to keep Fres below £10 they are doing a good job of it i would say.

Part of the malaise of the UK stock market the speed in takeovers for very little premium is breathtaking decent companies as well .

Soon all that will be left is AIM and its better to dig a hole in the garden to put your money in than invest there.

Looking at forecasts earnings should be growing by around 31% but was this before the recent rise in the gold price , we could have a pleasant surprise looking at your figures Aleman.

£2068 is another new Sterling high for gold. USD is just cents off.

50-days in MXN for both keep racking up new highs. Silver 200-day should hit new MXN highs around late November on current trends. Gold is already there, of course.

Strong pricing, weak energy costs and weak New Peso could make for a very interesting update if they choose to push the outlook commetary rather than just "Remain on track to meet full year guidance" like last time. That's just anticipated volume of gold and silver. Here's a reminder if where pricing went at H1:

The average realised silver price increased 18.5% from US$23.3 per ounce in 1H23 to
US$27.6 per ounce in 1H24, while the average realised gold price rose 11.4%, from
US$1,948.9 per ounce in 1H23 to US$2,171.9 per ounce in 1H24.

There are only two months of the year left and prices have risen much more. A comment about FY profit expectations would be interesting.

it could be hope that Trump is going to win... Markets go up until they don't and when they don't they dive sharply. UK markets are miserable compared to the USA.

I don’t think we’ll see a sizeable pullback in markets anytime soon. Rates are falling, inflation is falling and FTSE, S&P and DOW are in a strong uptrend, steaming ahead making new high after new high.

ironically what would benefit me the most would be a sizable general market pullback as i'm loaded with long term puts. But thanks to the gold price i'm still considerably up.

Run your winners.

My good friend Prat sold FRES at 600p after limiting his win to just 100 sheets 🤷‍a94;️ Personally I limit the losers, in theory the winners are then unlimited.

I expect FRES to make new all time highs in line with gold, and I think soon silver. The only thing I don’t know is how long it will take, but I expect to see 2000p within 2/3 years. 450p to 2000p is +344%

I regret selling those Fresnillo calls even though I have the sizable core holding in Fresnillo via shares.

At least i also have Cerrado Gold which looks like a call option seeing how undervalued it is. Here's their trading update announced today:

Market cap at 33.00M Canadian (18.45 million in sterling!!) for a producer is pitiful when they are getting all that money from Hochschild as well.

Both flying again. MXN630 and MXN52,956.

$2683 for gold is just $3 off a new record with silver at $31.93.

FRES has a lot of catching up to do.

Are rate cuts in Asia driving this as much as US rates? Thailand and Philippines cut today. They love saving in gold out there. They've been big buyers in recent years and falling rates will only encourage it.

MXN spot jumped back up to 626, close to recent highs. Gold just hit a new record of MXN52,741. Sterling's £2063 is also comfortably a new record.
