Are we off to to the races? Q3 update is in 13 days.

Typical target for a breakout of a megaphone is about 2/3rds of its height. In the current case, that would set a target of around 735p+. As it happens that pretty much coincides with the channel target I posted from charts two weeks ago and just over a week ago..

Fresnillo 737 million shares (never diluted shares since 2018) - 86.74% of them held by majors

74.99% tightly held by Shareholder Industrias Penoles SAB de CV

that only leaves 98 million shares in circulation

the irony is that there are explorers out there with more than 98 million shares in circulation!!

-> silver/gold prices up considerably
-> oil prices down
-> peso down some 15%
-> trading update end October approaching?

-> -> better margins for Fresnillo.

MXN silver's 50-day average should hit a new record tomorrow. Gold's MXN 50-day and 200-day continue to smash it out of the park.

Spot gold just missed another record high in Sterling. Maybe this afternoon?

Silver miners currently have an average Free Cash Flow margin of around 26%. $23.50 breakeven gives us a margin of about $8.50 per oz. Gold miners currently have an average FCF margin of around 34% $1750 breakeven gives us a margin of $900 per oz.

"The Last Degree" Claudia Sheinbaum published her 100 steps and as expected, the open pit mining ban has been removed. The week long Chinese government holidays ends next Monday evening so let's hope those silver shorts are busted and the $32.50, 30 euro manipulated resistance level is breached followed on with the 640p resistance level here. Because of those obvious levels, small free-float, FRES is great stock to day trade. It needs an autumn storm on a high tide to break the pattern, that day is coming!

Silver jumped to MXN630. Gone through £25 and $33. Something happened?

Edit - probably not. Just looks to have pinged a bit when it got through a sticky point around $32.25. Now eased slightly under $33.

Yet another new Sterling high for gold of £2032 this morning. That's up 35.2% in 12 months.

Euro2419 is also a new record and so is 2270 Swiss Francs. New highs are still coming in numerous currencies, including Rupee and Yen. I'm surprised the new records have not yet caught public attention like they did in the late 1970s.
