Nothing to do with fund or funds selling, buy volume is higher than sell volume.

The same thing was said last year when Fres dropped out of the FTSE100 at 2.7bn it didn't fall as a result, it fell beforehand

Im no trader but don't mind taking a bit of profit daily when something has been consistent in its volatility as this has this week. Don't mind helping Boris out with a little when the going is good either.

Here's the price gain in the run-up to last years interims. We are around 9 weeks away from this years interims, hopefully it will keep going to new highs this year.....

I have H121 income up by c$430m on H120 - $300m for silver and $130m for gold. Just volume and price calculations.

Although as noted at Q1, I have a suspicion that they are understating the gold production forecast after the Q1 numbers - 228koz for Q1 and a full year forecast of 700k oz? So H1 gold might be better, given that Q1. I just think they're not changing the forecast yet, as they don't want to disappoint. Would make a bloody change if they did surprise to the upside.

(H121 vs H120 wasn't that great - income up by $101m - the prices didn't really start to move until most of the way through H120. This year, the increase will be c4 times that. Not too bad...)

I would think we'll see a significant rise in to 1H21 Interim Results, much the same as happened last year.

This year metal prices are significantly higher.

From H120 interims.....

The average realised gold price increased 27.0%, from US$1,320.7 per ounce in 1H19 to
US$1,676.8 per ounce in 1H20, while the average realised silver price increased 10.1%
from US$15.3 per ounce in 1H19 to US$16.8 per ounce in 1H20

Operating profit and EBITDA of US$216.9m and US$469.9m, up 232.1% and 52.6%, respectively

Did well today on my final trade today. bought some at 859p and sold them at 895p. Makes up for off-loading at 905p and missing out on that rise to 940p next morning.
Still holding a good chunk. It would be a shame to miss out on any breakout above 940p which i think will happen sometime this year i'm sure.

Ah, you see there is some monkey in all of us, trader! Good shout on calling the bottom there BTW. I do look at the charts from time to time, but if I had to be good at them, I would go hungry :)
Anyway, I remain extremely comfortable with the PMs scenario, so these top ups are almost therapeutic. But for once, I would just like to actually buy at the bottom. I have managed to buy at the top before on several occasions and several stocks...

It's funny, all serious Pi's know that you can't predict the share price short term and especially with large cap stocks. However, it's always annoying when you don't get it right.I do get it right around 50 percent of the time, and in a month or two we will all be laughing IMO.
