I try not to make a habit of picking bottoms, but that one was quite enjoyable ;-)

At some point FRES will snap back and close that correlation gap, and we know how fast it can move ;-)

Annoyed with my early morning top up, thinking the share price would hold in the 890's today during the continued sell-off. Only as a point of principle, not because I have any real concerns about the direction of travel in the fairly near future here, all being well, touch wood etc.
Might have a few more tomorrow if we see 820-odd.

Yep following the gold and silver back up. My mid position is 882 but happy to hold at that regardless of how today ends.

Down today cos the silver price took a hit, I'd say the bottom is in, time to load up....

940 (where I sold some) to 855 (where I managed to buy some, but alas quite a few more higher) in 24 hours. c10% down.

With silver where it was 48 hours ago ($27.5).

On under 4m shares.

Casino...

I think fewer - they won't leave it until the last day. But I don't honestly know.

Proper kicking though - should have been more patient yesterday.

Somewhere in between will do me nicely. I have no intention of vacating the mining sector. Quite the opposite in fact I sold off across the board yesterday with the intention of getting more here.

14 quid is a very conservative target, it was almost that last year. I'm looking for £20-30 based on the rising silver price

I'll decide that, if it's all right with you.

I've been around this for a while Jason - I kind of know it pretty well, thanks all the same. You might want to look back on the thread a little.

Sell out in the morning chaps and move on then. FRES clearly not for you. I like many here have considerable money invested in the company and all I'm reading is should, woulda, coulda about other companies. FRES is a cash cow that's increased its net cash position by 110% despite silver production dropping a few percent. This will be over 14 quid by xmas, if not sooner

Idea was to buy 10K blocks every 10pt drop on the way down then off load when it spikes. Worked yesterday but today only got 2 lots at 902 and 892 now having to watch what the trackers dump tomorrow.

To be fair, I sold mine today - as it hit the 200 day ma and gold hit the 5 month high. We can never sell at the top or buy at the bottom. I still have very plenty of both - just closer to being equally balanced for the moment.

Good enough is all it needs to be.

Stupid. I'm thinking exactly the same. I sold of a fair chunk of my Poly last night to play at the Fres game. Silly Billy.......

And a last chunk.

POLY's continued progress makes me think this is a MSCI dump - and that I'm stupid (the clue is in the name) for not sticking with POLY for the time being. Hey-ho, tomorrow it will all be different...

(at least I didn't go for VOD - was tempted)
