24th of May today MSCI deletion on the 27th - I think the selling will be petering out from here or all already completed.

Silver is far more volatile than gold, historically silver outperforms gold to both the upside and downside. Look at the gold price rise over the the 2 years and wait. FRES is going to rise but it will be volatile. If you don't like the silver stock roller-coaster go sit on the gold stock carousel

12TH MAY 2021
Angelos Damaskos, CEO at Sector Investment Managers, says silver is heading to $30/oz or even $35/oz, thanks not only to safe haven demand as the cousin of gold, but also on the back of higher physical demand.

He recently increased the weighting of silver exposure in his Junior Gold Fund to about 40% on the expectation that it will outperform gold in the next phase. Damaskos says gold is likely to test $2000/oz level in the near term as it rebounds from recently oversold conditions.

Cheers Trader. Useful information.

What are your thoughts.
Tips going forward.
My scenario.
Got a long pot. 11000 shares.
Sold all my trading pot Friday. Hoping to take a nibble Monday morning or later in the week if it dips down to the low 8.6's. Nice range up to just under 9.

Millenium International make money from managing risk, no different to professional trading. Being right or wrong is not important, but they need both long and short positions to generate fund volatility.

Ie they have $48.3b undermanagement, their position in FRES is 0.07% of capital undermanagement, they couldn't give a toss which way price moves but they need those positions to be open.

Its the same as having a £7 holding in a £10,000 account.

Its irrelevant to other market participants.

Millenium International have just confirmed a 0.55% short position that's over 4m shares.

Buy in the dips.

Fair point Trader.

Regarding the charts.

Where do you see it next week.

Open up or down.

Trading in or breaking out of the 850 to 950 channel while trending Silver?

It's a tough stock to predict with its wild Salsa swings.

Go for a p1ss and it's dropped 2%. Pop for a paper and its up 40p.

Used to love trading BP. But this is a dream to trade.

You are overthinking, I love the conspiracy theories they are fun to read. Its down because XYZ and its up because of XYZ. Its nothing more than normal FRES volatility. If you are afraid of daily 10% ups and downs I suggest either your position size is too big for your account or you are not used to being in FRES.

Look at the dates of the above notifications and look at the price since the first notifications. Its clearly up.

Those of us that were holding when FRES was dropped from the FTSE100 last year will realise that it had no bearing whatsoever on the price, every seller has a buyer and every buyer has to have a seller.

Here's what price has done since 30th April....

What I cannot work out is last week with all the volume, were these Funds buying or selling this stock?

It has holder and date, is that date held till, or date purchased on?

I ask as the MM's obviously dropped the price to allow the big buys to enter or dropped the price because the big boys were leaving?

AU looking good for next week. The irony of all these Gov handouts (mainly US), is that inflation is rocketing, unemployment rising (why work when the gov pays you for doing nothing?) and those holding (most) assets continue to become wealthier - The exact opposite intention of most western gov intentions lol.But good for AU.

Boris - Add something useful on SRB - you can do it, but at the moment it's just witless tedium. And now it's coming here and elsewhere.

Just filter each other.

Have a good weekend.

Rarther, you made me think suggesting Penoles may be a better investment.Had a think about it;1) only listed on Mexican exchange, and only pays dividends in pesos. So you have exchange rate risk and a conversion cost.2) does seem to yield a little more at 2.6 percent. Exposure to many more areas too. However, I want exposure to silver and gold now, don't want the exchange rate hassle (pesos to pounds have devalued from 0.6 to 0.35 over 20 years). share price of fres is great for trading. Conclusion, staying here!!!
