26/6/2014 20:03 | H&S target is approx. 57. I managed to sell half my holding near the top. Shame I didn't sell it all! | bamboo2
26/6/2014 17:38 | Didn't expect this drop. | mustau
22/6/2014 11:10 | It'd be nice to see a longer term view. This would help put the recent out-performance into context. | bamboo2
21/6/2014 20:56 | Impressive chart work Millair. Thanks | nofool
21/6/2014 15:08 | I was going to order some fc shorts for the Summer, but they've sold out of all the popular sizes. :( Still, on the positive side, re-stocking will be cheaper now due to strength of the pound. | bamboo2
21/6/2014 14:33 | There has been a big fire at ASOS warehouse. Not been cynical but will this mean they will need to restock up on French Connection et al? | she-ra
18/6/2014 09:00 | Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has said "well-received" spring collections led to a "strong" second quarter. The firm, one of the world's biggest fashion retailers, posted a pre-tax profit of 7.6bn Swedish kronor (£670m; $1.1bn). The company added that it had seen a "good start" to its sales in June after an almost 20% increase in May. | bamboo2
10/6/2014 13:50 | [BBC] You can expect to see a lot of new outfits this summer. Clothing sales last month were the best for two years, according to the British Retail Consortium. | bamboo2

09/6/2014 13:47 | I attended the AGM this year and was impressed by the measured upbeat approach to the issue of recovery.I was particularly interested to learn that the leases on those loss making stores that the company wishes to close all terminate over the next 3 years. I think that an acceptable level of recovery is assured over the next 2-3 years which in my opinion more than underwrites the shares at this level. What happens then is a matter for speculation. Some kind of corporate activity has to be a strong possibility. In the meantime I think that the share price action could be subject to a degree of volatility not least because the shares do not appear to have a great deal of institutional support. | thorne3
08/6/2014 11:29 | old, first priority is breakeven. Closure of additional non-performing stores, combined with last years, should make this a given, assuming the turnover remains the same. US sales down in early part of year are probably due in part to the arctic weather that enveloped this part of the world in late winter. These sales are lost, so the co will need to trade its socks off in other areas to make up. | bamboo2
06/6/2014 06:02 | Not really a holiday bamboo, I now live about 4 months of the year in each of the UK, Nice and Naxos with the odd couple of weeks traveling elsewhere. Off to Paros for the day today :-) Hopefully just a pause for breath here with FCCN ? | philanderer
05/6/2014 19:22 | Folks, any view on valuation? Assuming sales static due to store closures, what are your thoughts on Gross Margin and Op Margin? Can it make a profit this yeR? | oldnotbold
05/6/2014 18:03 | Hi phil, Another holiday? Re, ASOS FC may have got caught in the down draft. Or that nasty looking head and shoulders may be taking effect... ...from this morning... "RETAIL SHARES 09:13: A profit warning from Asos sparked a sell-off in retail shares. Asos was down 40% at one stage. Online rival Boohoo.com fell 10%. Superdry firm SuperGroup fell more than 4%. Among the major retailers, Primark owner Associated British Foods fell 1.6% and Next was 1.2% lower." | bamboo2
05/6/2014 16:55 | Hi bamboo, half way through a sunshine break out here in Naxos at the moment. Not holding FCCN but still on the watchlist. Whatever happened to ASOS today ? | philanderer
04/6/2014 18:59 | Funny it went down earlier in the week. Its as though some people were given the heads up of some kind of downgrade. We shall see. | she-ra
04/6/2014 06:40 | 56500 trade at 68 after the close yesterday. Phil, miss your posts! | bamboo2

02/6/2014 16:08 | Not much showing on the bid demand-side of L2. f | fillipe |
