French Connection Group

Trading Update

French Connection today issues a trading update for UK/Europe Retail ahead of releasing the Group Interim Management statement for the first half of the year to 31 January 2015.

In the 11 weeks to 12 April 2014, UK/Europe Retail LFL's were up 11.0%, continuing the positive trend as our retail initiatives and improved product range continue to gain traction.

Whilst prior year comparatives for the first half were soft at -4.5%, last year's LFL's in the second half improve to +1.4%.

Breakingshells: when's last time you checked the difference in valuations between the businesses you mentioned. My advice: give it a go. Check out what the share price is buying you.

I think FCCN make great use of the social media sites with their pictures, superb for marketing and to target their potential buyers. All part of the fresh and new French Connection.

Sees to be holding well above 65p with a few buys coming in this afternoon.
