Im wondering with that Mr Selfridge tv series if French Connections premiere store next door to Selfridges has made them more attractive to a prospective buyer. They have quite a long lease on the store and it would be attractive to companies both in the UK and from abroad looking for a halo store. I wonder if J.Crew who have entered the UK market might want the store and even French Connection as a whole?

Any thoughts?

Would be interested in your TA on the share graph bamboo2? Looks like £1 a share here with a pause around 80p. On fundamentals I would say £1 too.

Fozzie. See h1 report. They'd lost 6.1mils in h1. So with the update yesterday you can work out how much was made in h2.

They lost less than the brokers thought. The bigger news was that there was no real change to their cash position. So with apparently slowing losses and no cash burn it looks in a better place, hence the rise.

Cash burn is minimal now, the key is to get the brand in the public eye in a positive way again. Some big name celebs wearing their gear would be a real puller.

I do love how some SPs seem to move suddenly on no news. Take the example of FCCN- at 11:17, a massive purchase of +2 million shares resulting in a sudden spike in the price.
But then, at 15:21 (peculiar time for a post-Christmas trading update you may think), an RNS making generally positive noises re trading.
Coincidence you may think, dear reader? I do hope so.

The 2 mil trade has been worked for days. It might actually be a sell. The. Volumes have been very thin for many days. It's irrelevant now. Need to check the actual volumes over the last two weeks.

& it is an amateurish statement that gives the impression they have no idea what the bottom line will be.
