Odd 50k shares buyback today, better to keep the cash as the share price has been going up without any buyback!

The RNS on 11th Dec outlines the market rules for the buyback and assume the recent daily share price movements have constrained the buyback programme.About £1.4m out of the proposed £3m has been spent thus far on the buyback. Not too fussed tbh given the share price is doing okay without it!. The buyback only has a couple of weeks remaining (stops 2nd March) and doesn't look like it will be able to hit the target spend - so probably may extend the programme or even better, announce a special divi.

On the move after the recent bear trap, mugging shareholders, usual process, when the share price is rising!

Really odd the buyback programme has stopped suddenly. I think Togglebrush was doing some sums on this but from memory only about half the buyback was complete.

Just consolidating around 70p,

meanwhile back to Bitcoin trading, easy money since last summer, even easier since before Xmas, got a Coinbase acc but trying to open Binance a but they are so busy again server issues due to volumes of account openings! Also playing crypto ia buying (MODE) another one difficult to get online acc open due to Huge volume surge of acc openings.

More lively sector than here but, here it’s just a add on decent dips, hold for a few years

Buyback point (I):"The maximum price paid per Ordinary Share will be no more than the higher of (i) 105 per cent of the average middle market closing prices of the Ordinary Shares for the five business days preceding any Ordinary Shares being purchased and (ii) the higher of the price of the last independent trade and the highest independent bid for Ordinary Shares on the trading venue where the purchase is carried out."

Why have they stopped buying their shares in the last few days? Are they waiting for the price to go back down for them to commence buying again?

I read that Rishi may get rid of stamp duty altogether, also council tax

these taxes will be replaced by an annual property tax levied at around 0.48% on the value of a property

so you can move as much as you wish lol

Added another 10,000 @ 68p, holding for a few years on my purchases, there’s always whispers of a takeover but it’s been going on a while, more likely post Covid from say Q4 onwards dyor as usual.
