Help to Buy for 2nd homes won't be extended. Stamp Duty hol - govn have already rejected calls to extend it and the deadline to take advantage is already here. Another govn U turn is possible though, as pressure mounts. Furlough - depending on vaccine rollout. Fewer B2L/foreign investors due to tax changes. I doubt this will change, especially with possible CGT/Tax changes in March's budget. The govn need to raise money. Government not planning to extend the stamp duty holiday https://www.propertywire.com/news/government-not-planning-to-extend-the-stamp-duty-holiday/ "However, housing market activity is likely to slow in the coming quarters, perhaps sharply, if the labour market weakens as most analysts expect, especially once the stamp duty holiday expires at the end of March," he warned." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55483432

Now the no 1 target for a takeover. No debt, at the start of a large buyback plan and London market on a rebound. Next level on the chart is 68p resistance in the short term.

Interesting, might their attention now turn to Foxtons? 'There was also another potential option. On December 2, Countrywide announced that it had received an indicative revised proposal for an equity raising fully underwritten by private equity firm Alchemy Partners.' www.standard.co.uk/business/property/countrywide-connells-estate-agent-countrywide-b590226.html' target='window'>https://www.standard.co.uk/business/property/countrywide-connells-estate-agent-countrywide-b590226.html

CWD take out offer raised and accepted ... Foxtons next? 'Countrywide PLC on Thursday said it has agreed to be taken over by peer Connells Ltd in a deal which values the UK estate agency at GBP223.1 million. Connells will acquire Countrywide for 395 pence per share, reflecting a more than doubled premium to Countrywide's closing price of 145p on November 6, the day before Connells made its first bid. In early November, Connells had approached Countrywide with a takeover offer of 250 pence per share. However, the offer was rejected by Countrywide, and after another offer by private equity firm Alchemy Special Opportunities LLP for the same amount, in addition to a recapitalisation of the company, Connells raised its bid to 325p per share, or an enterprise value of GBP200.2 million in total, in early December. Connells said it has received written confirmations of support for the acquisition from Countrywide shareholders in respect of 16.8 million shares, representing 51% of Countrywide's equity.'

London fully open by Easter... House prices in London to rise in 2021 EU and covid all done. Nationwide says house prices have risen 7.5% in 2020 Https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55483432 AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for emergency supply in the UK, with the first doses being released today so that vaccinations may begin early in the New Year. The UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has provided authorisation for emergency supply of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca, formerly AZD1222, for the active immunisation of individuals 18 years or older. The authorisation recommends two doses administered with an interval of between four and 12 weeks. This regimen was shown in clinical trials to be safe and effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19, with no severe cases and no hospitalisations more than 14 days after the second dose.AstraZeneca is working with Public Health England and National Health Service England to support the deployment and roll out of the vaccine in the UK, in line with the MHRA and the UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation dosing recommendation. The Company aims to supply millions of doses in the first quarter as part of an agreement with the government to supply up to 100 million doses in total.

That will do me just fine ;-) am up nearly 40% on my 38s . And can see these moving all the way back up to the 90s . So am not selling. No straight lines obviously may even add on weakness but with BREXIT and Virus issues getting dealt with London will want to get back to full steam ahead . So am keeping them hopefully for next few years and see them multiply

looks looks to test 60p today, share buybacks will add to the already expected buying from brexit. 62p could be the resistance.
