Andy, I've been looking up some Albanian and I think it means no one had extracted from the quarries till the time the article was written. Of course now extraction has occurred which supposedly is illegal.

I think its probably saying that no work has gone on at those mines mentioned. All very complicated and shows how difficult doing business in some of these countries still is. Who knows the truth here but there seems to be local forces working against fox.

Rexhep Shaqiri, a businessman from Lower Klina of Skenderaj, owner of Marble Company Rex Marble, has filed criminal charges against institutions and people claiming to have taken his company. Shaqiri, who founded the company Rex Marble, started legal proceedings on November 9 to fight fraud that according to him started from his former employee Etrur Albani, who was also former Director of Post and Telecom of Kosovo, until the year 2012. But then he kept the surname Rrustemaj. In 2010, Rexhep Shaqiri had accepted Etrur Albanin from work, from whom he had promised to be engaged in finding new clients for his company. Alban had also announced with his partner Christofer Gilbert. "These people have begged me to help, with the foundation of a company to get the quarries of Kosovo after I know them very well. So I got the quarries of those who found investing investors, "said Rexhep Shaqiri earlier. This business "friendship" seems to have failed. At least according to Shaqiri's version, he was falsified signing by taking the largest number of Rex Marble shares. Of which shares was formed the new Fox Marble company, by Etrur Albanin and Christofer Gilbert. In the criminal report that the Word Gazette possesses, Shaqiri claims that besides these two he was also deceived by local institutions such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals. "There is a suspicion that the aforementioned as Fox Marble, KPPM and MTI officials for the purpose of gaining property for themselves from 2011-2013 have falsified the signing and stamp of Rexhep Shaqiri as owner of REX Marble," he writes in the criminal report, reports Word Newspaper. According to this criminal report, Etrur Albani and Christorfer Gilbert have made a registration change at MTI by Rex Marble and Fox Marble. After changing the company's history to the MTI Business Registration Agency - it has also been made the transfer of licenses from the first company to the second. Shaqiri according to this criminal report accuses that false statements about reserves and use of decorative stone were also presented. "For the purpose of obtaining loans at home and abroad at the value of 10 million Euros or pounds received from the British stock exchange, putting them in deception and mischief both of Kosovo's state bodies as well as of the English authorities," he writes in the denunciation. Rexhep Shaqiri possesses three licenses issued by the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals. One of the licenses is in Crvenica, Astrazubi, the other is at the cemetery of Zatrić, while the third is in Surigana. The ICMM issued them from 2011 until 2036 ie for a period of 25 years. However, according to the criminal report no one has taken any action regarding the use of the hard rock material for which the war was given the licenses.

Harold, This is probably the relevant bit, a local power play by the looks of it. It could have explained in more detail how he was able to buy Rrustemi's wifes' shares, and why they are now objecting to her sale. I used Google translate. ------- "Naim Rrustemi, who is a representative of the Green Power Stoneware Company, accuses Sami Lushtaku of being dubiously involved in a deal between his company and the giant British company Fox Marble, which he is not accepting. The British company Fox Marble Holding, which operates in Kosovo since 2012, bought in May shares of Green Power, owned by Florije Rrustemi, wife of Naim Rrustemi. However, the Rrustemi family company since May has challenged the sale agreement of the company's shares. In a conversation with the Insider, Naim Rrustemi said today that the deal for the sale of his company - Green Power - has been undone and does not exist. The British company with millions of entries stops working in Malisheva" ------- Source: https://insajderi.com/ish-deputeti-i-pdk-se-akuzon-lushtakun-merr-perqindje-nga-kompania-britanike/
