ok - I did not get it - what is going on - so I did some reading - and then a big light in my head switched on - look at the people and their official history. Fox has EXTREMELY competent board - electronics, media, army, schools ... decades of high ranking experience and connections now it makes sense to me - posting some!! info - not complete Sir Colin Terry KBE CB DL FREng, 75 Non-Executive Director Sir Colin spent 37 years in the Royal Air Force, where he reached the rank of Air Marshal. He was Director-General of Support Management in 1993, Chief of Staff at RAF Logistics Command in 1995 and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief at RAF Logistics Command in 1997 before retiring in 1999. Roy Harrison OBE, 71 Roy is chairman of the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust, having spent 25 years establishing and running new or rescued schools under the Thomas Telford Banner. Christopher Gilbert, 67 n 1992, Chris co-founded Infectious Records, an independent record company which grew to be one of the most successful independent record companies in the UK until it was sold to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation in 1999. Following this he founded Auriga Networks, a satellite transmission company which has developed a unique technology to deliver mpeg 3 video over VSAT networks and numbers amongst its clients NATO, the British and US Army......

EC, I was at a company presentation when a guy working for the NOMAD said they monitored the main blogs every day. He said that in front of 30 people, and I questioned him after and he confirmed he was one of his duties! The allegations are really serious, IMO, so they have to respond, otherwise some people may believe they're true.

to be fair most of us aren't actually shareholders, just watching on the side for the game to play out

what is the difference: questions vs allegations

Andy, You are living in a fantasy world. The only possible reason for FOX to respond to these allegations if they are false would be if they were having an effect on the price, which they are not. It is absurd to suggest that companies should otherwise respond to unsubstantiated allegations published anonymously on ADVFN. And NOMADs do not normally monitor BB threads. Why on earth would they? Who's going to pay them to do that?

Harold, NOMADS monitor BB threads, Chris will already know. They have to respond to this, otherwise some people will think it's true, IMO. An RNS is needed, nothing less.

I think somebody would have made Chris aware of these allegations. If there is not an rns made confirming any of these allegations within 48 hours one will have to assume they are not true IF subsequently it is confirmed that any of it is true it will be the end of the very well paid board . The nomad will have to take action . I do not think a rns is necessary if they are lies . Shareholders will have to call for an EGM though if it is true.

EC, No, if they do not respond, nobody will ever know if they were true or not, and that means people will continue to speculate. Silence does not mean they are not true at all, as nobody will know for sure. The company have to respond, IMO, whether they are true or not. That way everyone can see the facts as reported by the company. RNS take time to produce, BTW, as they have to be run through legals, so one could easily come tomorrow, and I expect they will respond.

Key words "if they were true". If they are true, they ought to be RNS'd regardless of whether they have been posted here or not. If they are not true, they ought to be ignored. Either way, their presence on this bulletin board should not have any impact on the RNSs the company does or does not release. The fact that we have not had an RNS tells us that either: (a) they are not true; or (b) the Board of Fox is flagrantly disregarding its responsibilities to shareholders and the wider market. Take your pick.

EC, NOMAD's watch the bulletin boards, so FOX will become aware of this post very soon, if they don't know already. Whilst I agree they shouldn't be addressing every BB post, this post contains specific points which, if they were true, are surely price sensitive? I am not put off by the poor English as the person posting may be from another country, surely it's the message that is the focus, not the grammar?

I disagree - if it is true it should have been RNS'd already. But if it is false, Fox should just ignore it. Companies cannot be expected to formally respond to anonymous allegations on a bulletin board, particularly when (as in this case) they are often barely coherent in their expression. To make my position clear, I consider Fox management to have shown themselves to be untrustworthy, and would not be at all surprised should some or all of these allegations prove to be true.

clocktower, I totally agree, an RNS is required IMO. Fox need to answer each point clearly to put an end to the matter.

If that is Fake news, the company should take steps to ensure those publishing it are traced and dealt with. If not then issue a RNS but either way a RNS should be issued to clear matters up.

Wow, Quite a list there. If the accident is true I would have though it should have been reported personally, Canadian listed companies normally report this sort of event. I have been asking about the Eboracum and Banyan orders for ages now but that question is never answered. What's 'NHW'?
