AaronQ,

Fox marble is not a serious investor.

Most of investments were in London office and the people who “ worked', were from within 'the London office'.

Fox never had a license of the quarry in question and never had written agreement with quarry owners.

CG knows it well. Will see this year when PWC audit their accounts, if CG can prove to them that it holds '40 exploration licenses' .

Government of Kosovo was in CG's side (until last Sunday) but unfortunetely for CG, law is and was against him and he knows that well.

Very interesting year

LSE and EU rules mean sweet FA just as much here if it`s not in the regulators own interest - so while the casino tables might be fixed at different odds, so are the potential rewards.

Lesson to be learnt

Investors need to be very aware of risks when putting their monies in foreign companies in far flung parts of the world where LSE and EU rules mean sweet FA

Kosovo anti-establishment party claims election win. Anti coruption so might get action on delayed transfer of quarry but (imo) may depend on reasons why not granted eg: Amongst other points were original contracts valid?

However also from FT today Kosovo population only 1.8 million - unemployment at almost 30% - so imo 195 million claim over 108 per head of population (men women and children) - Not a chance in hell ) even if arbitration finds in Fox's favour of anywhere near this amound being awarded or payable.

Or are there any links between the two companies?

Ok they have a website.

Is that because some revenue is better than having them sit idle whilst the quarry ownership issue is resolved do you think?

Company is called Feronikeli. Machines have been rented to their local subcontractors. Very very odd.

Aaronq,

Who owns the nickel company out of interest?

andy

One should rather be very concerned of the new COO's 'strategic review' of the company. Machinery worth in excess of 200k to be leased to a local nikel company at extremely low price (even lower by Kosovo standard), sounds rather strange.

Pugugly,

Yes, I noticed their accruals up sharply, as are trade payables.

I agree they have a duty to inform their shareholders of the situation regarding Malesheve, it is ridiculous that was not addressed in that RNS, IMO.

Interim accounts out - Losses reduced but debt increased and NO real clarification on reason why the authorities have refused to register the transfer of the Maleshevë quarry - If the company's legal advisisors in the country do not know they certainly should do and this information made available to all the shareholders.

RNS last Friday, note the dreaded words "strategic review" being used!

-------

Fox Marble, the AIM listed company focused on marble quarrying and finishing in Kosovo and the Balkans region, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francisco Espinosa to the role of Chief Operating Officer to the Company in a non-Board capacity, with effect from the 1 October 2019. His role will be the executive management of all the operations of Fox Marble with specific emphasis on sales as Head of Sales worldwide, as well as the operational efficiency of the quarries and the factory.

Francisco has already visited the quarrying operations in Kosovo and Macedonia and spent time in the factory identifying areas of improvement. He is preparing a thorough strategic review in conjunction with Fox Marble's recently appointed Senior Advisor, Don Nicolson.

PUGUGLY- "The company has presented detailed evidence ..." ? Details of any licence or details of attempt to buy Green Power? Check for details how you buy established ltd company in Kosovo, you can not force someone to sell his own company if he does not want to sell and if he decide not to continue with sell off process (hxxps://arbk.rks-gov.net).
Note: every buy and sell MUST be followed strictly by rules and regulation described by the governing law of Kosovo.

From the rns of 4th September

"The Company has presented detailed evidence to the ICMM that it holds the relevant rights to grant develop, exploit and operate its Malesheva quarry to Fox Marble Kosova Sh.p.k ("FMK"), Fox Marble's local subsidiary, which has been the case since 2015. However, as disclosed on 18 July 2019, operations at the Malesheva quarry were suspended. Numerous procedural and legal channels open to it in Kosovo to have failed to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion. "

AaronQ - Do you have any insight as to why the registration to the quarry was refused?

Also most interestin gpoint re Article 21 - Does the article explain what needs to be done to retain the rights and convert into a working quarry (Possibly not the correct technical term for a quarry producing and selling stone) but hopefully you get what I am looking for.

From annual report 2018 : "Through submission all exploration licences, Stone Alliance now has exclusive rights for a 40 year period to 40 quarry sites".
Can Andy Muir, as biggest shareholder, ask CG to publish these exploration licences because Kosova law on mine and minerals issue exploration licences for a period of maximum 2 years with only one extension for 2 years (see article 21 of Law on Mines and Minerals of Kosova its english version too).
CG must have his own reasons for this and he might share with public.
