Good article in this weeks Shares Mag titled All rosy in the garden at Flying Brands

Saying after 3 very difficult years it seems to have turned the corner.

Talks about acquistion of Flowers Direct which should compliment existing business and create purchasing synergies

Says Stephen Cook ( CEO appointed Feb 2009 ) has confidence of both market and Tom Hunter (27% shareholder )

Julys interim results will provide opportunity to update market on the benefits of the cash and loan notes deal for Flying Flowers

recommedation is Buy as says valuation is low

A good acquisition of the Flower Direct business from administration imv. The important point here is the network of 750 florists that fbdu will have access to, I believe thay were not entirely happy with their current distribution agreement, and this should give fbdu more control and help improve customer service.

I still believe fbdu have a very shrewd CEO in Stephen Cook and will emerge as much stronger company this year.

Not holding stock at this time, but planning on buying back in into share price strength.

Good luck to all holders.............

I'm glad someone else has noticed - the sadest guy on ADVFN - holds just EKT and hardly anything else and sends his time knocking all and sundry while they fly lol.

yep, I know he's Fusebox.

WestcoastRich, GYAU, Sixpenceonethericher , WhiteRussians, Gumarabic ..... the list of handles the plonker's had is unlimited, but then that comes from making himself look such a tool so many times.

Your a tool - the day to day volume here means naff all unless you're the trader chimp I take you for.

It's what it's going to do over 6-12 months. If they look like turning in 12p+ next year as looks likely these are screaming cheap - but then as a Chuckle Brother you wouldn't get it.

No your the tool you are making out what a good buy this it yet the volume bought today was pathetic. Look whats happened to Debenhams after your ramp its fallen badly and so has STY.
