25/1/2019 12:30 | I set bid and offers all over lse and often make money sideways trading just by picking up shares on the bid and selling on the offer. | kirk 6
25/1/2019 12:29 | If you trade DMA they are very easy to trade | kirk 6
25/1/2019 12:25 | whatsup32 The professional punters will have direct access to the order board so can put limits up and trade on there. They could be on the bid and offer at the same time given the spread and still make good money. Pro traders are paying 5basis points or less to trade and no stamp if it’s on a CFD. | exbroker
25/1/2019 12:24 | It seems to me the Institutional traders, as Flybe has less then a month as an independant company, are going to trade the hell out of this share and continue to make money off the Private Retail Investor until Flybe is finally sold on 22nd February. | loganair
25/1/2019 12:19 | As an investor I have to ask . Why do people think shares are cheap just because it’s a penny share. The spreads are often as in this case ludicrous. This company is currently worth at most 1p people. | whatsup32
25/1/2019 12:19 | conspiracy months in the making "The Company confirms that, at the time of this announcement, it is in discussions with a number of strategic operators about a potential sale of the Company." How long had they been in `discussions' for...I wonder | mhin2
25/1/2019 12:14 | loganair. ‘Shares are traded for a quick buck’ Not that easy here. Spread is often 10% plus dealing costs. Presuming you’d want 10% profit . It would have to rise over 20% from your dealing price for you to see a profit. Is it worth the risk considering the down side is 75% drop to 1p 3.10 - 3.46 as I post | whatsup32
25/1/2019 12:13 | Would love to meet with the people that were buying 300 and 400ks at 6p! What planet were they on or thinking | kirk 6
25/1/2019 12:03 | Big drop off in volume today, perhaps its beginning to dawn on the mug punters that this is only worth 1p at best. | exbroker
25/1/2019 11:48 | Time to put this out of its misery | porsche1945

25/1/2019 11:38 | presumably so brave active trading when the offer price is 1p | phillis
25/1/2019 11:36 | Phillis - This is because the shares are just being traded to make a quick profit. Often in such cases shares are only held for minutes or even maybe just seconds before being resold. | loganair
25/1/2019 11:26 | Yes Phillis and no-one has filed a Rule 8.3 dealing declaration on the buy side since Tinkler. Mind you it took several weeks for Warwick Brady to discover one of his family held 16,666 Flybe shares. I am also sceptical of the idea that a whole load of private punters have been dealing like dervishes. Most shareholders will have taken the opportunity to exit at a premium to the 1p offer. OK a few momentum traders will have played the bounces but surely not enough to account for the massive turnover since the bid was announced. It's almost like there is some mysterious Blofeld character using a series of offshore companies to deal in huge tranches of the company without reporting anything. I can see this whole fiasco being a watershed moment for City regulation. | danny baker
25/1/2019 11:09 | What I find fascinating is that the whole of the issued share capital has traded this week but nobody has so far ended up owning a disclosable stake PS Minnie's in the binnie | phillis
25/1/2019 11:05 | QANTAS Stobart did NOT offer 40p they walked away when they looked at the numbers. They could see it was falling apart. The consortium have at least had the decency to bid 1p that helps all the other stakeholders, shareholders as owners of a bust business you are all but wiped out. This company has lost money and bled cash for years how can any of you who read a balance sheet or cash flow statement not see this. In life you may want to ignore the truth as fake news but in investing it tends to be important! | exbroker
25/1/2019 10:53 | Can't wait for the litigation to start it would be pure theft at 1p when Stobart offered 40 pence last year it is called collusion. Please do your own research as always. | qantas
25/1/2019 10:24 | Flybe’s biggest investor – London-based asset manager Hosking Partners – is reportedly considering legal action, having accused the company’s directors of breaching their obligations to shareholders. It is understood Hosking Partners wrote to Flybe’s directors expressing concerns that the carrier had allowed a false market to develop by failing to notify the City of its financial position quickly enough – a letter that was also sent to regulators. hxxps://www.energyvo | mhin2
