24/1/2019 16:24 | It seems that most on here don’t read or understand the RNS that went out today. So here is the crunch bit, to help the slow of thinking. “Connect Airways has now provided the first GBP10m of the GBP20m secured committed credit facility, as referred to in the announcement of 15 January 2019 . Flybe continues to receive payments from its card acquirers in accordance with the arrangements agreed at the time of the SPA being entered into. The arrangements with the Company's credit card acquirers and banks are important to enable Flybe to continue to trade and are conditional themselves upon the SPA completing.” | exbroker
24/1/2019 16:14 | loganair. Not sure the announced closures gives an accurate reading. These are short haul destinations and instead of basing aircraft there , they will just fly in and out reducing cost. Similar announcement was made by Ryanair . Flights to USA will still continue but the pilots will not be based in America The routes will still be active. However I understand they are suffering on their long haul due to unreliability of the B787 Dreamliner Rolls Royce engines . | whatsup32
24/1/2019 15:53 | Further to BA and Nowegian - IAG currently holds a 3.93% stake in the low-cost carrier but has revealed that it will also sell its remaining stake in the company. Last week, the carrier announced it would close its Boeing 737 bases in Palma De Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Rome, effective April 2019. Overseas, the airline will also shut down its Stewart and Providence bases in the US Whether it is cuts to the airline’ fleet, axed routes, financial troubles or finding suitable long-term funding going forward, the airline seems to be mitigati After a turbulent couple of years, which saw the demise of Air Berlin, Monarch Airlines, Primera Air, Small Planet Airlines and Cobalt Airlines, the future for Norwegian seems all but clear. | loganair
24/1/2019 15:44 | Brexit Clause You know what they say things got bad go bad so connect airways will have no luck with this theft. Please do your own research as always. | qantas
24/1/2019 15:38 | What you are all forgetting is the Brexit clause. Please do your own research as always. | qantas
24/1/2019 15:15 | The spread here is usually 10%. For the risk reward you would want at least 20% That means you would need 30% up from your buy price . Think before you trade | whatsup32

24/1/2019 15:01 | Norwegian will regret the day they turned down BA | whatsup32
24/1/2019 14:57 | On a separate note IAG, the owner of British Airways is going to walk away from bidding for Norwegian. Times are tough in the airline industry at the moment. | danny baker

24/1/2019 14:31 | ‘Shareholders will not get a vote on sale of assets’ . Company news 10.40 | whatsup32
24/1/2019 14:30 | On 27/11/18 an RNS was issued concerning a circular for shareholders to vote for approval to change from a premier to a standard listing. It gives a link to the flyb website, stating that copies will be available shortly. On the website, the circular appears to be posted on 14/12/18 - THE SAME DATE as the RNS issuing the result of the meeting. The circular states that a standard listing would be in the best interests of the company AND shareholders as a whole. What a rip-off! | europa79

24/1/2019 14:21 | The assets of the company have gone, its a shell with nothing but debt and liabilities. For sure, the shareholders could refuse the 1p offer, and then the company goes into liquidation and they get 0p per share instead. It's binary. There is no company left now. | sippguru

24/1/2019 14:12 | whatsup32: How come? Surely the owners (shareholders) control company if they have over 50% of the shares and are not selling? | netcurtains
24/1/2019 14:11 | tonysss13: Have 50% of shareholders agreed to 1p? You would think if they have the share price would be around about 1p. So are you saying it looks like FLYBE will have to reject the offer (cant get 50% of shareholders to agree) and go bust? | netcurtains
24/1/2019 14:09 | Nothing to vote on. Don’t need shareholders approval | whatsup32
24/1/2019 14:02 | netcurtains the shareholders either accept 1p or get 0p in this instance | tonysss13
24/1/2019 13:55 | Suppose you want to buy company for 1p but people are not selling their shares. What happens? Do the buyers have to buy for 6p? I mean the board can only recommend the takeover it cant force the shareholders to sell. Have the buyers got agreement from 50% of the shareholders or not? That is the question We know they have offered 1p. We know the company has accepted 1p. But what about the shareholders? Are 50% of them selling for 1p? | netcurtains
