28/1/2019 00:33 | On 22/02/18 FLYB issued an RNS stating that there had been no approach by STOBART On 22/03/18 FLYB issued an RNS stating that STOBART had withdrawn its approach Surely this suggests that there WAS an approach, and this has not been stated. The media speculated that an offer had been made by STOBART. Rumours suggested that the offer was 40p. The share price soared to 56p amidst the speculation. Meanwhile, FLYB kept reiterating that their so-called SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT PLAN was working. | europa79
27/1/2019 22:25 | Lets see what happens, an interesting week(s) ahead. Glad I am out...its squeaky bum time... May decide to get back in depending what transpires. Nevertheless, will enjoy watching what happens, to see, if nothing else, whether the hubris of the de-rampers (amigos) is warranted. If they are shorting, which I suspect they are, I hope they burn, because, I think, they have been dishonest and partial. Anyway, the hierarchy of the amigos flushed out, just waiting for confirmation of the head. Will post, if I get a chance. | mhin2
27/1/2019 22:24 | Here for all to read You can all form your own opinion Link below for those who would like to read it Promises broken lol Hope Whatsup32 and all readers can spot the broken promises/ubdertaking by Flybe BOD. Outlook Flybe's strategy of reducing capacity has enabled the Company to report continued increases in revenue per seat with a 7.2% improvement in H1. However external factors, notably the weaker value of sterling and higher fuel prices have driven up the cost per seat, which together with a softening of market growth, has affected profitability within the European short-haul aviation market. Despite this, bookings remain ahead of last year showing the continued value of Flybe to its customers. However, the Board is reviewing a number of options to address the current cost challenges. These include further capacity and cost saving measures, as well as initiatives to strengthen the balance sheet and preserve cash resources. The Board is also exploring a possible move to an LSE Standard listing, from the current Premium listing. This would have the benefit of allowing the Company greater flexibility when considering divestments, particularly to recycle cash, as the current low market capitalisation places restraints and complexity on such disposals for companies with a Premium listing. If the Board determines that such a move would be in the interests of the Company and shareholders, the Board will write to all shareholders and convene a general meeting to approve this move. | cleverinvestor
27/1/2019 21:50 | Clever. First ...that was an approach by Stobart alone and your key sentence says it all. Again NO offer was made. Why did they make an offer with Virgin later?? My thinking with Virgin the approach and deal made sense alone it did not and the risk is shared Bidding together they both get what they want. Stobart ...it’s interest at Southend Virgin ....feeder traffic to Manchester and Heathrow. | whatsup32
27/1/2019 21:42 | Clever, are you also part of their gang...are they (the amigos) sending out cannon fodder? There is absolutely no idea where this will end. | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:39 | Whatsup 32 The board remains highly confident ……&hel Quarter 1 2018/18 Trading statement released on the 26th July 2018 indicated a kind of on going recovery -Link below for your perusal | cleverinvestor
27/1/2019 21:35 | Out comes Minerve, second in command, but not that good...leaves exbroker...thought so, have felt it for some time...Now lets see how he can articulate his position. Minerve was never that good, but better than the rest of the gang, but still obvious....exbroker was more articulate and has greater insight....i.e. Minerve is really a follower pretending to be a leader. | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:34 | Clever, dont interrupt this...dont let them off the hook | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:32 | Whatsup32 you posted whatsup32 27 Jan '19 - 18:54 - 9970 of 9989 0 1 0 Clever takeover discussion is NOT an offer , it’s merely discussion as stated by the news release of 19th December . I can talk to you about buying your car at £5k but then on further investigation I find rust , gearbox problems and maybe HP debt on the car and my offer then is £1k . It’s only an offer when I make the offer and a deal when you accept it. As suggested before you need to go back in time See below Flybe statement regarding Stobart's takeover approach FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 22 March 2018 Flybe Group plc Statement Regarding Withdrawal of Stobart Group Limited The Board of Flybe Group plc ("Flybe" or the "Group") (LSE: FLYB.L) notes the announcement by Stobart Group Limited withdrawing its approach regarding a possible offer for Flybe. The Board remains highly confident in the prospects of Flybe and believes that the Group continues to have an exciting future as an independent company, delivering the Sustainable Business Improvement Plan as set out in June 2017. This plan is focused on driving sustainable profit and cash generation and will see the fleet size reduce to an optimum level for the number of identified profitable routes and make the business demand-driven rather than capacity-led. key sentence: "Stobart withdrawing its approach regarding a possible offer for Flybe" Why Stobart joining a consortium? | cleverinvestor
27/1/2019 21:30 | Out comes Minerve...leaves exbroker...thought so, have felt it for some time...Now lets see how he can articulate his position. Minerve was never that good. | mhin2

27/1/2019 21:25 | Conspiracy? Ask Frank! | minerve
27/1/2019 21:25 | Is exbroker part of the conspiracy? | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:19 | I thought I was filtered....Ahh once bitten, I had forgotten, a real intellect that might be the 3 amigos controller...on reflection...dont think so...just look at the quality of the invective...quite unimpressing. Where are the two amigos? And, of course the chief...exbroker. | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:12 | I thought I was filtered? | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:11 | actually, its exbroker...minerve is...well..he knows | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:06 | Loganair at the bottom of the 3 amigos...now who is number 2? I suspect that Minerve is the top dog | mhin2
27/1/2019 21:03 | I could see of no reasonable logic to ever invest in Flybe as they have only once made a profit and that was a very small profit, sadly the rest of the time Flybe have made losses with the manangement time and time again saying they were enacting a turn round programme and still sadly Flybe continued to make losses. It seems to me most of Flybe's losses have been down to very poor management decisions. Early last year the Flybe manamgement said that 40p per share offer under valued the company which it most certainly did not. Since then the financial position of Flybe has deteriorated markedly to the point where they could run out of cash altogether and cease trading. Often when a company gets into financial troubles, unfortunately they all to often financially go down hill very quickly. I can not see anything coming of Hoskins' and co legal actions and that Flybe will be taken over next month with the shares being delisted. | loganair
27/1/2019 20:51 | "Having said that writing has been on the wall for many years and not just this management but previous managements too. In this case I think private investors have also to blame themselves." How soothing...but why were II's invested...are they nuts? NO LOGIC ...these 3 and a half (or whatever fraction whatsup is) are parasites and userers. Whatsup is clearly the weakest link. Bottom of the team he goes....lets see the hierarchy of the 3 amigos....I wonder if loganair sit at the bottom of the 3 ...wouldn't surprise me...he has been on the margins... | mhin2
27/1/2019 20:48 | Admit there has been a conspiracy...you can also say the business is not viable (and I can understand the conspiracy/consortiu | mhin2
27/1/2019 20:40 | loganair. Can I just add I also feel for any Private Investor who may have lost money on this stock . After all I am also a private investor Having said that writing has been on the wall for many years and not just this management but previous managements too. In this case I think private investors have also to blame themselves. | whatsup32 |
