Ignore whats up, he adds nothing...the issue was the Credit card acquirers...and we need to know what happened there, also what happened to all the cash that flybe claimed they had. the 3 amigos keep on trying to go off topic. Note how they refer to each other all the time...they must have a very dim view of other peoples intelligence...scary. Plus their grammar is abysmal `you wasn't the one...' oh dear...

Clever takeover discussion is NOT an offer , it’s merely discussion as stated by the news release of 19th December . I can talk to you about buying your car at £5k but then on further investigation I find rust , gearbox problems and maybe HP debt on the car and my offer then is £1k . It’s only an offer when I make the offer and a deal when you accept it.

Whatsup says "consortium are paying over £102 million for Flybe"... err no they are paying that to develop their strategy...stob share price didn't decline but rose and Cyrus bought Stob shares. It is not enough to read partial (and biased) information, although it is important to develop an understanding of the unfolding narrative/story. I am afraid the 3 amigos want to close that down. What `interest' might they have? Conspiracy at the expense of Flybe, with Flybe BOD involved....WOW

whatsup past post "Not better anywhere else Nortic. I bought TUi thinking it will benefit from the pound going down and what happens pound goes up. TUI goes down I really thought CNA would be flying in these uncertain markets" he clearly gambles, I can understand that...what is the gamble in Flybe? Could it go wrong? I dont believe he is not short...point is where does his short sit, and when does it have to be covered?

Answer to whatup, other bidders/proposals were circumvented, the consortium, it appears, may have been in discussions well before Nov. 14th...I thought all this had been covered.

Clever. I am going by the news reports that are verified not hearsay. If Virgin had made a .40p offer then BOD will have said they received the bid and turned it down on valuation grounds. They didn’t It’s only worth what people are willing to pay for it. Edit... consortium are paying over £102 million for Flybe

whatsup, must be the really kind caring persona of the 3 amigos. How noble (didn't deny he maybe a paid de-ramper). Further I dint see anybody suggest that whatup may be a shorter other than me...is he still monitoring my posts...I thought I was filtered...

Clever, the sky reporter, also reporting for CITYam, seems to be in some sort of a network around flybe...he was voted Business Journalist of the year a few years back, wonder if he wants to regain the title?

For those insisting I must be shorting . The answer is No. Not long or short. Just providing information. I have only shorted once . Long time ago Amstrad was boasting about an all in Fax, phone unit. Bragged about how fantastic it was going to be. It was late into the market on the day it was launched I thought what a pathetic piece of equipment and shorted its share big time and as the share price dropped shorted it more. The following day newspapers commented negatively but Amstrad were saying they had sold out of all units at Dixon’s . (i presume Dixon’s had only one unit to sell) Made a nice six figure profit.

Whatsup32 Seems you concentrate on the tail ends of this saga ie from 14th Nov onward. The 40p per share was allegedly quoted by Sky News and other news outlets

Of course the more that people say `collusion', conspiracy etc the more likelihood of an investigation. The more that people say Branson and Grayling at it again, the more politically embarrassing...But I suppose most people realize that...

Clever - So often directors turn down offers saying that their company is worth far more, only then to see the share price fall by 50% over the year ahead.

I think the 3 amigos and their invective indicates that they are still reading my posts. I suggest they spend their time reading the documentation. Glad we are making his `job easier'. I wouldn't announce something like "..it makes my job easier" (wonder what that `job' is), in fact I dont understand why they do...surely they can profit by keeping quiet. What are they scared of? Oh...and lets not forget the invective.

14th Nov, flybe announces it was already in discussions with interested parties. Gosh I wish these people would do a bit of reading! "The Company confirms that, at the time of this announcement, it is in discussions with a number of strategic operators about a potential sale of the Company."

CleverInvestor 14th Nov....Flybe puts itself up for sale 23rd Nov....Reports Virgin interested 26th Nov....Reports IAG. Interested 19th Dec....Virgin confirms talks still continuing and stressed ‘there can be no guarantee offer will be made or terms agreed’ Where on Earth do people get this 40p offer was made and BOD turned it down . This is why Private Investors lose
