The third amigo, also a stob investor, appears...I was wondering how long it would take...are there more of them?

Of course the more that people say `collusion', conspiracy etc the more likelihood of an investigation. The more that people say Branson and Grayling at it again, the more politically embarrassing...But I suppose most people realize that...

Clever - So often directors turn down offers saying that their company is worth far more, only then to see the share price fall by 50% over the year ahead.

I think the 3 amigos and their invective indicates that they are still reading my posts. I suggest they spend their time reading the documentation. Glad we are making his `job easier'. I wouldn't announce something like "..it makes my job easier" (wonder what that `job' is), in fact I dont understand why they do...surely they can profit by keeping quiet. What are they scared of? Oh...and lets not forget the invective.

14th Nov, flybe announces it was already in discussions with interested parties. Gosh I wish these people would do a bit of reading! "The Company confirms that, at the time of this announcement, it is in discussions with a number of strategic operators about a potential sale of the Company."

CleverInvestor 14th Nov....Flybe puts itself up for sale 23rd Nov....Reports Virgin interested 26th Nov....Reports IAG. Interested 19th Dec....Virgin confirms talks still continuing and stressed ‘there can be no guarantee offer will be made or terms agreed’ Where on Earth do people get this 40p offer was made and BOD turned it down . This is why Private Investors lose

Surprise surprise Minerve is invested in Stob, but I knew that when he started posting. Thats why I have been saying watch the stob share price for an indication of what might happen at Flybe. To date Sob has held up remarkable well...holding on to its 20p gain after the flybe announcement, and despite issue of Shares to Cyrus at £1.50

Clever, the 3 amigos are deliberately taking everything at face value...ie that which has been published (and there little in the way of detail, but a lot of assertion), is true. I have yet to see the detail. If the detail was published the PI's may think differently...but ...well we all who seek the `facts' know only a very limited amount, and have no trust. Completely unsatisfactory, I just dont know why the CONsortium thought they could get away with it...will they be hung by their own petard?

Whatsup32 Read between the lines. Allegedly the BOD turned down an offer of 40p per share. That was a better offer. Far better than 1p per share. They turned it down and 2 or 3 months after put the company up for sale. Ask yourself why? Something definitely not right i wonder what Stobart's due diligence would had uncovered.

One more of the three amigos still to post...If the three amigos are paid de-rampers they are not doing a very good job. If they are shorters acting in concert, they will be sweating under their collars. Also good to see rebellion stirring on the LSE board.

Easy answer to whatup...Hosking stated that other parties `remained interested' until the sale was pushed through after Tinklers announcement of stake building. Also dont forget parties were excluded early on in the process of offers by the criteria applied by the bod (or conspirators). Seems as if the bod and conspirators are doing all they can to avoid counter offers. However that does not detract from the fact that many think the recommended offer was outrageously low, that must include HSBC that recently valued Flybe at 17p per share. The BOD, if they really were looking after the interests of shareholders have a lot to answer for. They have not yet been brought to task or been held to account.

CleverInvester. ‘Agree with your view’s and comments’ Agreeing with ‘your views’ doesnt make them right....., if there were better offers out there then ask yourself this . Why don’t they come forward even at this stage and make a counter offer.

Easy answer to Minerve...it doesn't matter as long as the value perceived, or a larger proportion than 1p, (stob has gone from £1.40 TO £1.60 since the announcement) is returned to Flybe/Flybe owners...I dont think anybody would be naive to think the strategy of any of the players is aligned with PI's, or employees, or customers...dont think any of them have a moral (let alone charitable/philanthropic/stakeholder) hair on their heads. What they all have in common (to varying degrees) is competitive egos, careers, greed, status. The three amigos do have a common interest and common orientation/disrespect as indicated by their regular use of expletives. It didn't/doesn't take much to expose them.

Clever, thanks for that, although I think the 3 amigos are either short or paid de-rampers or both. Flybe currently is too risky for me, but may re-enter depending on how things emerge, and what the buying indicates. However, I dont think what is happening can be good for any party involved (so will see how stob share price responds) unless Hosking, Kohn (possibly Tinkler), have an alternative strategy in mind...and that might just be to extract some of the value they believe to be in Flybe, back from the CONsortium. Still waiting to see where Tinkler stands.

Mhin2 Those guys interests e.g Minerva etc doesn't aligned with shareholders' interests. There are more readers than posters on this bb. Majority of the readers are current or ex shareholders and will agree with your views and comments.

Just can't believe Flybe in serious financial situation bought an assets from Monarch Air administrators. Why? The consortium gets that throw in as part of £2.8m purchase of Flybe operational assets. So really they paid less than £2.8m

Qantas Are you a holder? If not are you a Flybe customer or staff? Evidence and information in public dimain pointing towards unfair treatment of shareholders by the BOD. Why are you defending wrong doings? The shareholders own the company period if the process is fair none of them will complain so show some understanding please
