I may or may not know as much as Hoskins etc but what is obvious is I know more than you!
You have no position and subtract from this board so you have the honour of being the first person I have ever filtered!

Hopefully more than a wind up artist...can't say I am over the moon about the shenanigans in Flybe.

mh2 is not a holder just a windup artist.

Bring on the litigation for theft and collusion.

Please do your own research as always.

exbroker, did I not already say, I have sold up and not bought back in. I have plenty of time in my retirement, its keeping me amused, plus I like corporate shenanigans and conspiracies to be exposed. But thanks for your concern and advice.

However, if you know more than Hoskings, Kohn (possibly Tinkler), and have a better understanding than them good for you...I would get in touch with them.

You have given no predictions as you clearly have little or no understanding of the situation or the technical aspects of the deal.
As I have said before sell all your holdings and buy a low-cost index tracker. This will lower your blood pressure considerably and free up a lot of extra time for you to spend with your family.

Exbroker, Trade unions have already raised concerns over the impact of Flybe's sale on the carrier's 2,300 employees

The Panel would have to give permission for the bid to be withdrawn and that would require a material change in circumstances, given the bid is only 2.2m it may not be worth the trouble, after all the consortium are the good guys protecting the employees and pensioners against a nasty greedy hedge fun!
Expect some PR spin on that basis!

Exbroker. I have made no predictions merely given my interpretation on what has/has not been released.

if FLYBE's finances are as dire as we believe, what is there to stop connect & FLYB's board going through a pre-packed administration process?

If this desperate move by Hoskin's could lead to a messy administration process anyway what would they have to lose? They would only have to prove this was the only way to save jobs, shareholders won;t be given a second thought IMO.

Some of Flybe institutional investors must be/have been quite stupid and irresponsible. Also the consortium must like throwing good money after bad...

Now we have the gang of three and/or four offering advice to the consortium! Offering industry risk analysis- the very day after the Vale disaster in Brazil, the week in which Barclays ex execs are in court for Fraud, the year in which the motor industry has been shown to be fraudulent and the retail sector is going pear shaped. Funny.

As I see the situation, I would advise the consortium to do the following.
Get the sale of the assets completed ASAP, Feb 22 was the long stop date not the completion date which was not given.
Ask Hoskins publicly if they intend to vote against the takeover, they have enough (given that the Private investors won’t vote) to block the deal. If they do, then they will be known as the hedge fund that cost lots of small people at or near lots of regional airports either money or their jobs.
Issue a trading statement setting out just what a mess the company was in and why it needed the loan. Also, state that they are committed to the deal if it completes, if not then they would have to review their loan etc.
See if there is any evidence that Hoskins and Tinkler are acting in concert, this will worry them because if they are then they would have to bid for the company at whatever was the highest price paid in the last year. NO WAY will they want that. Tinkler has only got involved to be a pain to STOB, this looks to have backfired so far.
Remind investors that the can switch to an offer from the current scheme if they want to.
Note A scheme requires 75% of shareholders voting to pass, an offer requires 50% of shareholders to accept.

The plan was hatched quite some time ago, will be interesting to find out how long it was in the making. [hey, I didn't mention the word conspiracy...oh damn it ...I've gone and done it again!]

Seems as if some are going from hard certainties to mere opinions...I suspect a conspiracy, and renewed hope (last seen since Tinkler stake building) ...whether it gets anywhere, remains to be seen

I dont believe anyone would spend time, effort and money into making a `one shot' offer, there will be some leeway. But all conjecture...no certainties from me, but there are plenty of indications of a conspiracy.

Did I say they played fairly...what I said was we have sharks in a dog fight, it is more probable in situations like this that some transparency might emerge...again read a bit more carefully.

IMO this complaint is going nowhere. Just wasting time and building-up false hope.

If you believe hedge-funds play fairly you are deluded.
