This is rather strange, the business no longer has any assets worth mentioning, the assets and the online business have been sold. The holding co has nothing but a small amount of cash in hand and a massive amount of debt and other future liabilities, all of which have been agreed to be sold at 1p a share. If that sale somehow gets blocked it leaves a worthless company with a load of shareholders licking wounds as the receivers move in. Why oh why are people buying at this price? Madness i tell you.

im still a holder and I suspect its games...although I would dearly love to think otherwise and this pile of scum who masquerade as a board get fried.

I have never seen something trading at nearly three times it’s bid price, management need to state whether there are any other interested parties or any reason for price to be above bid price, if there is no reason then I expect a sharp fall, if there is a reason let’s hear it

People sometimes overrate trading names. Remember PanAm, Eastern, National,Laker plus another 200 that’s gone under.

PanAm if I remember right had a huge portfolio of Hotels , travel companies, properties as well as PanAm the airline all except the Airline making profits. They sold all the assets and profitable companies and pumped it into loss making PanAm.

When nothing was left to sell PanAm went bankrupt. See similarities?

Do you think it would matter here? Obviously the trading arm has the rights to use it. I don't think it would have been written-up like some Virgin brand nonsense where a 'Richard' wants to take his cut for doing nothing.

does anybody have an idea (or would like to hazard a guess) how much of Flyb cash the credit card acquirers may be holding? £10m, £20m, £30m...more? I think this is relevant because if someone is able to release that cash...game on...new, competent board, some restructuring, money from litigation etc etc. quite a lot of work though...is Tinkler looking for a challenge (after all he has a lot of faith in flybe potential).
