No it was clearly in an RNS. Apparently.Read the RNSs, or maybe pay someone to do it, and understand it for you, as it appears you cannot read or interpret yourself?

They never said it is off the table. However, in the most recent earnings call management did dodge a question from an analyst about the timing of an IPO. The way they answered that question also made me wonder if they are maybe considering not doing the IPO anymore.

Exactly, unless Whitehouse would like to provide a link/quote that says otherwise.

delay, not withdraw, is all I read and heard anywhere:

Not just me it seems as funny how no one else has seen any reference to it being withdrawn. Maybe it was in invisible ink.

The Florida sports betting ballot initiative reaches a milestone today. Verification of the signatures required must be determined by Feb1st but be submitted for the verification process one month before - meaning 2nd Jan is the cutoff.DK have invested $22.7m in their efforts, FD $14.4m. Interesting to see if they get a return on this expenditure. The Seminoles are playing hardball in their own efforts to quash this....the Seminole Tribe of Florida "is paying petition gathering firms to not work in Florida during the 2022 midterms as part of an effort to block rival proposed gaming constitutional amendments - a strategy that also includes running a separate informal signature gathering operation and hiring workers that interfere with other petition gatherers.https://ballotpedia.org/Florida_Sports_Betting_Initiative_(2022)

Perhaps in the New Year you need to see about those fantasy voices in your head that make you imagine stuff before you regurgitate them as facts

The White House has seen a statement that announced a withdrawal of the IPO. Or so he says
mip55
31/12/2021

It has NOT been announced. Q4 is going to be huge, NY coming soon for Q1 pop. Flutter clearly believes it will win. Fox won’t be much affected either way. Clarity on Fox issue will lead to IPO shortly thereafter. Happy New Year all!

I don't disagree at all with your reasoning as to what lay behind the initial IPO news zwemmar but a lot of investors and commentators - witness the recent Sunday Times article - are still expecting this partial IPO to proceed. IF the company had actually decided to withdraw the prospect of a listing and announced this to the market this would have a detrimental effect on the share price, which is why their radio silence on this matter is telling....but one poster believes this has already been announced. If I have missed this important news I will apologise

Has anyone else seen a statement indicating the partial IPO of FanDuel being withdrawn?

Are you suggesting that FLTR have issued a statement to say no IPO will take place? If so that will be a surprise to many. Please can you point to any evidence to support this?

The issue is not about the value/price, it is simply Flutter and Fastball keeping to the pre agreed date & the price at close on that day. Fastball got a deal only because they wanted settlement early and were willing to accept lower to get hands on cash early. I would expect the date (July 1') to be honoured. The fact that Flutter also have a view that the agreement did NOT involve the whole of FanDuel but just a subdivision could be a massive turn up if this outturns to be true

Incorrect, the last statement was to withdraw from the plan, hardly consistent. I support no ipo, as they may well now do also

It is not, and has never been, an issue of IPOing FanDuel. What the company has consistently said is that it is considering IPOing a small part of FanDuel. They have, however, been remarkably reticent on how exactly this would be achieved and how that small portion would interact with the remainder of FanDuel

so we will have $5B in cash more and then be able to IPO the rest? what's the issue...

Solarman: If arbiration goes in favour of Fox, then Fox will pay let us say $5B less to Flutter than what it would have paid otherwise for 17.6% stake. We as Fluuter shareholder will get 5B less and Fox will be richer by 5B. It has nothing to do with FD IPO valuation. FD IPO price will be decided independently of what FOX pay for its 17.6% shares. It is my 2 cents
harigoyal

so lets say the arbitrator comes in 100% for Fox. The valuation of FD by itself goes way up and that only helps the case for a high IPO price.

"The gap between what Flutter will sell the interest at and what Fox will pay is reportedly as large as $10 billion, and it’s the source of the aforementioned legal tussle between the two companies."

saw that. I’m expecting a Q1 resolution as the arbitrator final decision can’t take forever. They had said expecting early 2022 resolution. Frankly whatever the decision it will be a boost to Flutter because it must get on with FD listing .

Will this get resolved soon in 2022 ? Hope so...The added debt burden may limit its scope for other international deals," reports The Sunday Times. "Separate listing for FanDuel in New York, as planned, would help. Yet it first needs to settle its differences with Fox."https://www.casino.org/news/fanduel-spinoff-would-generate-cash-for-flutter-entertainment/
