The best thing about Flutter is the ability to watch the snooker on their skybet.com site with the sound but no (incessant and barely intelligible) commentary 🙏🏽.

So fox.. about those shares you wanted.. At what price did you want the 18.6% option

In all seriousness, we are oversold at this level. It blew past a previous support. I'm guessing the next level of support is at 91.60

Judging by today’s further 3+% drop I’m guessing not FanDuel.

FanDuel and GAN in Ontario ?On December 1, 2021, GAN Limited (the "Company") issued a blog post announcing the execution of an agreement with a top-three ranked U.S. market position 'podium player' business-to-consumer operator of U.S. online casino gaming ("iGaming") and sports betting, by commonly-accepted U.S. market metrics, to deploy the Company's platform which is already certified for sports betting and iGaming in various U.S. states. Subject to securing a requisite regulatory license, the Company expects to launch the client-branded website and accompanying mobile app offering online sports betting and iGaming in Ontario that leverages GAN's enterprise software in the first quarter of 2022.

We are almost at the level where you could argue that Flutter market cap is equal to 100% of Fanduel.

https://www.casino.org/news/uk-legislators-determined-to-expand-black-market-gambling-as-new-online-limits-proposed/As mentioned - explored extensively on the ENT board but basically a group of MPs and Bishops want a two pound limit on individual on line bets with a maximum spend of one hundred pounds a month. No mention of course about how this would just drive punters into the unregulated market !

Bought some at 140 at the end of October, and 102 at the close today. I was alot more confident and happy about the October purchase, than today's buy. The psychology of trading is fascinating.

Paradoxically, public info has been good recently for FD:

1. FD market share (by handle) bounced back significantly in October after taking a dent in Aug/Sep when DK and CZR in particular threw a lot of money into promotions and slashing margins. (Market share by revenue has remained strong and even increased throughout.)

2. Getting on the NY ticket was non-negotiable for FD. If anyone is going to make money there, then its FD with no.1 brand recognition in the state and leading product.

3. Florida case is undoubtedly good news - albeit there may well be a way to go with appeals etc.. The 2022 referendum is far more likely to get the signatures and succeed if there is no active sportsbook in the state.

I agree that the share price is essentially just tracking DK (I think most analysts value Flutter as DK + 10*Non-US EBITDA - Debt/Fox Litigation). Although why DK is taking such a hit is not so clear to me. I guess some investors felt that they would run away with the market but FD continue to lead them, and BetMGM have made impressive in-roads this year. Caesars and perhaps Barstool remain credible threats. DK also seem to be fooling around with NFT tokens and global M&A which hampers their pure-play US story I think. All that said, FD is looking way undervalued now.

By the way, I also really like the Tombola acquisition in the UK. I've thought them to be a good fit for a while. It's vertical and market segment that was way under-covered before. Obvious synergies top and bottom line, and international expansion opportunities...

The Florida situation will push forward new law post voting to allow it making it an opportunity for all. Hard rock will have to compete yet they may still be allowed to have mobile bets on Indian land …

Agree with Solarman - reason for a lot of the stock pressure we are seeing across the sector. The Florida news this week also raised concerns on the pace of US regulatory progress and TAM assumptions. Although, I actually think the Florida news will be better for FanDuel longterm as it increases the chances to pass law via voter approval and avoids monopoly with tribal casinos.

To add context, investors like myself were betting on FanDuel IPO to unlock flutter value and raise share price based on DraftKings valuation. DKNG now at a 52W Low and 50% below it’s ATH. The significant drop we are seeing in flutter aligns with DKNG price drop - and over the same period.

Investors are weary because big spend on client acquisition is driving losses which are expected to continue until 2024. FD has been more prudent and expects this level of spending to slow down as small guys drop off.

Flutter not alone, the entire US gaming stock sector is significantly down and under a lot of pressure. Take a look a DraftKings stock (DKNG) and you will see a lot of similarities to Flutter share price.
