Did anyone suggest the U.S. will shut down?Perhaps you do not fully appreciate the implications of the Omicron variant and it's transmissibility amongst both vaccinated and unvaccinated members of society. But the NFL have cancelled multiple games this week as a precaution against its spreadA surge in COVID-19 cases across the NFL and United States as a whole has resulted in the postponement of multiple Week 15 games.I hope that the Super Bowl is able to proceed but if you have any evidence that it definitely will not be cancelled then I'd be interested in your evidence.

Bizarrely delayed Arizona data still to be released will be 10pc+ of market & Flutter now up to 12 and counting will see US revenues start to make significant percentage inroads into its importance to Flutter. The fact that NJ continues to expand every single period YoY shows that there is years of growth ahead across the whole of the USFundamentals cannot fail to demonstrate significant upside from the next Q (year) numbers onwards. A 50 pounds below previous levels needs to be exploited, even DK down from 64 to 27 needed a nibble, however those major names entain and mgm, Caesars all look to be able to bounce off of recent lows

The USA will NOT shut down. The Super Bowl will NOT be cancelled. Omicron is a warning to those not vaccinated with either no symptoms whether vaxxed or not. The real danger to people is Delta and that is being taken over but is not dead. So people can take the chance that they will be one of the 1% who die, but most are just fine.

Moving forward this NY launch looks to be within a month from now & given a few months of action after March Madness' numbers may well be spin off time. Current issues can be overlooked, given the Covid situation, with some Premier matches cancelled this mislead the actual fact that thus far in past 3 weeks far more games have been screened live as both BT and Amazon have screened 10 live midweek each as opposed to 0 usually thanks to more widespread TV deals. Matches will continue with maybe a well or two downside but as previously games could be rescheduled to all independently live as previously, no bad thing

NJ numbers are indeed amazing 64m for a single month in a single state is remarkable. Turnover levels were huge given 4 weekends v 5 in OctoberMichigan sports and gaming again show improvements, even DraftKings posted the first set of figures that I recall to look half decentNew York will be a huge trigger for the industry with FanDuel looking to set up in the lead even tho 9 launch simultaneously. TWH, well written. The market over-corrected and Flutter will likely lead the pack back up. November hold seems much better than October (which reporting was partly responsible for the meltdown). I think COVID will abate and not be such a factor moving forward. Amicron is milder than Delta. People are learning to live with it and those who wish to take their chances, do so at their own risk. When NY goes live, see a huge bump and hopefully before Xmas.

remember we are coming into end of year when people normally freeze gains and get out. I am not sure we'll hit 120 but we are in the oversold position still. If I recall the FOX arbitration was meant to be done by early 2022, so expect some speculation around that. Either way, Flutter will be a winner no matter the decision, because they are still sitting on a very valuable property. With lawsuit out of the way, the path to an IPO for FD is clear and they likely will do that once NY is out of the gates and the money is pouring in.

It's really not uncommon for same sector stocks to be performing similarly. Esp those competing head to head in the same market place.

Fan Duel identified the overspend a while ago and said that they began scaling back while DK continues. Others just can't keep going either and know they will essentially die a quick death if they do. So the whole range of companies are understanding (aside from it seems DK) that there is no path to profit at this pace. It is early days for a lot of new markets where you can extend ads at higher initial pace, then scale down. But a number of markets are becoming more mature. I think the FD strategy makes more sense and will lead to profitability sooner than others.

Yes Fox issue is a big hangover for Flutter but major issue is that all betting companies are spending too much to acquire new clients in US. As per America Affiliate (now acquired by Fansunite, Canada), they are getting $350-1000 per depositing customers from big betting companies like Fanduel, DK, Penn ......

Ehh we are even already beyond that level... based on where DKNG is trading today FanDuel market cap would be materially (!) above the current market cap (or EV) of Flutter. This FOX thing needs to be resolved, it is a huge overhang on the stock
