20/8/2022 10:09 | As I said, Brucie, I'm not planning to sell at this price and am hoping for a recovery but there is a long way to go. I must, however, learn to take some profits when they are there, even from my old stalwarts. | bouleversee
20/8/2022 08:00 | Buy and hold for me. 1500 is your recent share purchase, 1500p is my target :) | hamhamham1
19/8/2022 08:01 | Just had my first nibble(1500 not showing yet.) A lovely 'cup and handle' on the chart.. | gymratt
18/8/2022 21:39 | Not suggesting you buy more - but may be worth holding for recovery..? You're in good company here with OIT having taken just under 5%. They are very focused in their folio holdings and seem to do consistently well. Here are the major share holders. This looks also like having been rather good news, I'm sure you're aware: I'm rather positive about prospects here, despite lack of a dividend. For me it's a turnaround story. Good luck, whatever you decide. | brucie5
18/8/2022 20:29 | Thanks, Brucie. I went onto the SCSW site and accepted the offer of a sample report, hoping it would be the recent one but it was dated Dec. 2020. I don't want to subscribe to something that can't get the divs. right, however, and till I get new specs don't want to plough through acres of small print. As it happens, I have some cash in my ISA waiting to be reinvested, but that's not really the point. If a company stops paying dividends for a long time and the share price keeps dropping, I would take some persuading to buy more or to sell at such a low price without further information. | bouleversee
18/8/2022 19:11 | Ah. Ok. Can't offer advice, obviously, except that if it's in an ISA, you can also consider taking capital down as 'total return', rather than just depending on dividends. So a share price going back up without dividends can be just as good as one going the other way, with dividends! My hope obviously, is that this may be the former... But wdik, except that if it is indeed a large holding, you get hold of a copy of the SCSW report. Kind regards, B5. | brucie5
18/8/2022 17:14 | No, I haven't yet as no link was provided. However, the continued lack of divs. (how am I expected to pay my bills?) and fall in share price doesn't inspire confidence. I haven't sold any shares (too late now) but at my age there is no guarantee I will still be around if/when the share price recovers and in the meantime I expect and need a positive return on my investments to complement the fixed rate annuity inherited from my husband. All my stars seem to be exploding! | bouleversee
18/8/2022 16:28 | Hmm, seems you're right. I'm not sure why Stocko suggests 5.15%. Broader market concerns aside, why are you worried? I assume you've read the SCSW article..? | brucie5
18/8/2022 15:32 | Are you sure you are looking at the right stats., Brucie? According to the info on my IWeb acct., FSJ has not paid a div. since 6/11/20 and none has been declared since then. Sorry to see that it did dive today. As a long term holder of for me quite a large position, I am rather worried. | bouleversee
18/8/2022 14:12 | Bought some on this retrace. Assuming that the share price doesn't promptly dive once it views my interest (;-)I will consider a larger position. Most favourably impressed both by the article in SCSW and the chart, which looks like the the Real McCoy. Though I've said that many times and it's turned out not to be... It does also have a dividend of >5%, which, while hardly eye catching, is not to be sneezed at. Finally, I notice no screens on Stocko, though it does label it a 'small cap contrarian', which I imagine is among its so called 'winning styles'. Hopefully, the screens will follow hereafter. | brucie5
18/8/2022 08:09 | Twanging upwards | nobilis
17/8/2022 09:44 | Never buy on the Monday following a SCSW tip. Wait a few days and watch it come back to earth, like today. Having said that, could be a winner long term. | napoleon 14th
15/8/2022 13:10 | Thanks Ian Dippie, good to know why the rise has happened. | our haven
15/8/2022 11:30 | The reason for the rise today is because it was a main recommendation by Small Company Stock Watch this weekend. | iandippie
15/8/2022 10:49 | Nobills, let's hope that there is something in it and 600 sounds about right. | our haven
15/8/2022 10:42 | Well the share price steadily grew to get to over 2000p in the years running up to Jan 2020. Any bids welcome, but prefer natural share price growth back to those levels over next 2 or 3 years please ;)? | hamhamham1
15/8/2022 10:31 | Some chatter on twitter of a bid approach, would have to be 6 squid | nobilis
15/8/2022 10:20 | Nearly 400, very nice!I cannot see the reason why. | our haven
15/8/2022 10:15 | 400p broken!! Just the 1600p to go to back to early 2020 highs :) (Being 2000p) | hamhamham1
15/8/2022 07:03 | Near 380p open, nice! | hamhamham1
11/8/2022 19:18 | Never thought I'd be saying that about 350p! But yes, quite the thing indeed. For the first time I did not buy when it dipped to a low. I still haven't. Perhaps you should be grateful? cheers | illiswilgig
11/8/2022 17:58 | Well, what can you say about that finish. Happy days ? | our haven
11/8/2022 09:39 | Only 30 months ago, this was over 2000 pence | hamhamham1
09/8/2022 15:48 | 335p close? | hamhamham1 |
