I think you've let the working class down. A firefighters job was, in many parts of the country, one of the very few ways in which a fit, but less academic white male, could earn a very decent wage. Now your foolish greed has given the government the opportunity to reduce the number of full time fighters dramatically over the next ten years whilst those still in the job will probably loose the shift system which allowed many of you to earn so well. You should have kept the lid on the FBUs pandoras box for everyones sake!

Note I use the term serve, not 'attached' which firefighters would never use.
