What I'm wondering - primarily in the UK market - is whether FEVR is suffering from the Schweppes effect. That is ubiquity.

I wonder how many non-retail outlets are considering alternative offerings perhaps from some of the smaller UK suppliers, not found in the majority of UK supermarkets?

Their name is their only asset that is why this was doomed to retrace most of the last few yrs ridiculous gain. Gin craze is just that, a latest fad

Market makers have mopped all the shares they can get and will be selling them back at £19 and maybe £20.
The panic created by the shorters is caused the drop which is below the NAV and is not justified as sales are up near enough 10%

Christh , why don’t you read the trading update?
2019 earnings are down 5% on 2018, not up!,

P/e still in 30s even after the fall. On zero growth and likely reduced earnings, a p/e of 20 seems more appropriate so a further 50% drop this yr?

Missed their own forecasts set only 2 months ago not just in the UK but in the US as well. What do you expect? Stop being such an idiot. The reason is clear as day.

First quarter UK off-sales will be poor as well. You can monitor them easily at your local supermarket. The problem with having lots of shelf space for multipacks is if nobody buys them then the store doesn't need to re-order and that leads to a huge volume drop. It's been clear that this channel has been stuffed with stock for a while which is why I opened my short. I accept the UK off-trade is only a small part of the business but the slowdown in US growth is also surprising. Maybe we've passed peak gin.

No laughing matter. But I wish he wasn't so pig headed and didn't constantly make up facts that aren't true. He's likley brought a few naive PIs down with him today.

It’s funny how all these names pop up on this board that never post all year then arrive just to talk it down. At the same time they will be buying at £16 with a grin on their faces.

Group revenue is expected to be GBP260.5 million representing growth of c.10%, reflecting the significant progress made during 2019 across many of our regions. However, this performance is below the Board's expectations, primarily reflecting subdued Christmas trading in the UK.

Relax. It’ll go down to £15-16 then up to £20 again in 2 days. The results are not that surprising. Down 1% in U.K. is about in line. Good growth in US and ROW. Investing for the future. Probably will need to expand operations in US which will hit 2020, 2021 back to 30% growth in US.
