15/5/2017 08:33 | What a great company this is. Trouble is that the share price is now so high that an AHEAD profit update is already priced in. More downside than upside in the share price if you ask me. If you logically put a cap on how much this brand could ultimately be worth (top-end) it can't be much more than £3-5bn and its already valued at £2bn. Just my view. Obviously I wasn't smart enough to spot this great company 2/3 years ago so well done to those that spotted this early. | topvest
15/5/2017 07:39 | Many funds already have pile in these. I expect many more will invest in Fevertree. Hope fully the price will rise to £20 to reflect the growth. see here | christh
15/5/2017 07:27 | Back of the envelope calculation suggests worth around £1.50 initial share price premium. DYOR | staverly
15/5/2017 07:26 | "Ahead" to me implies some acceleration, wetdream... | sogoesit
15/5/2017 07:12 | I think the current share price already anticipates 2017 'being comfortably ahead'. But let's wait & see! | wetdream
15/5/2017 07:10 | Refers to Full Year and we're only in Q1... yep, that is bullish! | sogoesit
15/5/2017 07:07 | It needed to be a strong statement - and it didn't disappoint. 2016 was another exceptional year for Fever-Tree which saw the Group continue to gain market share in both the on and off trade across all our markets. Fever-Tree remains the pioneer and market leader of the premium mixer category and the momentum seen in 2016 has continued in the first four months of 2017. Given the strong sales in the period to date, the Board anticipates that the results for the full year ending 31 December 2017 will be comfortably ahead of current market expectations. | broadwood
15/5/2017 07:06 | "...comfortably ahead". | manics
12/5/2017 19:33 | Some big sells today. Let's hope results don't disappoint(whatever that means)! ;-) | wetdream
12/5/2017 10:20 | that should it give it a boost to higher share price once it is known. The agm should give it the thumbs up for more contracts to be announced. I was thinking about a possible US bidder since it is brand and a very profitable company. lets see for those wishing to do their research | christh
12/5/2017 09:26 | Fever-Tree signs partnership deal at Lord's 11 May 2017 | martywidget
11/5/2017 22:57 | just flown to Spain on EZJ, baby tin of FT tonic 150p , not enough on board :)) | ccr1958
11/5/2017 15:06 | wetdream 11 May '17 - 10:19 - 358 of 359 Whoosh! If FT are doing well in the US then a buyout must be on the horizon. IMHO Do you expect a bidder for this? who though? Better sit tight then. | christh
11/5/2017 15:03 | the trend is upwards....heading to £20 and beyond. Let the trend be your friend. | christh
11/5/2017 10:19 | Whoosh! If FT are doing well in the US then a buyout must be on the horizon. IMHO | wetdream
11/5/2017 08:22 | Currently there are only 6 sell-side houses that write research (not aware of any sponsored research), all of them tier 2/3 houses, or worse. Surprising for a 2bn m/cap business. Britvic has 21 according to their website! Hard not to imagine that a tier one brokerage will initiate shortly. Then it's lift off time ... again! | staverly
10/5/2017 22:44 | bamboo2Would be holding long term.........so a dip would be welcome!DD | discodave4
10/5/2017 22:26 | bamboo - the agm and no doubt a trading update are on Monday which may determine future direction of travel? of course if there is leakage you may be right and activity on Friday would be an indicator of what is about to come!!! | janeann
10/5/2017 22:19 | DD, fwiw, I have no idea how long you plan to hold for, but I use three basic methods to plan purchases, mainly for trading or the medium term. I am a fan of averaging in and out of holdings. Breaking up into 2/3/4 lots makes a lot of sense, in terms of stop loss setting etc Chart patterns, resistance, support, indicators, etc, suggest buying and selling targets. Converging trendlines result in wedges and triangles. The apex of these shapes often present a turning point in the price. This can occur even after the price has moved out of the triangle. FEVR has two potential apexes on Monday 15 May. This suggests to me that it is worth closely watching the price action in the preceding sessions. I'll try to judge this direction on Friday afternoon, and act accordingly. | bamboo2
10/5/2017 18:18 | This looks like it`s on its way to 2000p ,the growth is every where to be seen ...aimho ....ccr | ccr1958
10/5/2017 17:34 | sogoesit & TBFThanks, undecided.....more inclined to wait and hope for a pullback/profit taking (no offence holders!).staverlyHa | discodave4
10/5/2017 17:26 | DD4: that's insider trading! TBF: what do you mean by "faultless" ... bearing in mind the sell side scribes are currently projecting FY17 revenue growth of around 20% (FY16 73% with FX helping hand, though whatever + effect was unwound to the tune of nearly £2m in cash profit, so FY16 FX impact was more complex than might first appear, so what's new. "Faultless" ... | staverly |
