03/12/2018 18:55 | 3rdNot placing any bets based on the Aug sales, you were using that as the indicator for reduced rev Sept/Oct/Nov.Still repeat sales last year £170m not £185m you were using.Who said Webfg forecasts are wrong?, can't see Villa's post saying that.Tbh "Mick" (the Kipper by any chance), I haven't a clue what point you are actually trying to make, other than deramping this. For the record I'm not a holder at the moment.Good luck. | discodave4
03/12/2018 16:36 | "But I’m with Sogo, whatever happens and whatever flavour of deal or no deal we get, nothing much will change. Some short term turbulence and that’ll be it." ==================== Villarich, if we crash out of the EC and we have shortages of medicines and food in the shops, dont rule out trouble on the streets as per the poll tax riots. Gin shortages as well as per mixer drinks. One things for sure if moggy and boris and the boys (about 50 of them) dont get something out of this watch out for the Tory Party dividing and Labour getting into power. These are more serious times than you and Sogo are crediting it with. I hope it doesnt turn out this way but you cant rule it out. | 3rd eye

03/12/2018 15:45 | "Brexit deal will get through with flying colours."Where did you get that nugget from? May's Brexit deal has absolutely no chance of getting through the commons. Every Labour MP will vote against it and so will half the tories. The next week and a half will be a complete waste of time, just like the last 2 years have been. We'll be back to square 1 and have a second referendum. Remain will win handsomely and we'll all wake up like the last episode of Dallas and realise it was all a dream. But I'm with Sogo, whatever happens and whatever flavour of deal or no deal we get, nothing much will change. Some short term turbulence and that'll be it. | villarich

03/12/2018 14:54 | Sogoesit3 Dec '18 - 13:56 - 4383 of 4383 If the market "tanks on Brexit" "without doubt" and FEVR follows it will just confirm the irrationality of the market and throw-up FEVR as a bargain. ==================== Im counting on it. wink. | 3rd eye
03/12/2018 14:53 | - is it because there are more buyers then sellers TODAY? | 3rd eye
03/12/2018 13:56 | If the market "tanks on Brexit" "without doubt" and FEVR follows it will just confirm the irrationality of the market and throw-up FEVR as a bargain. Brexit, or no deal, will have little effect on the UK economy... believe it or not. Some (a lot or just the establishment and the media?) people don't believe that thesis and, as with most prognostications about the future, most people (the consensus) will be wrong and therefore lose money or opportunity or both. Looks like the share price is currently moving-up: - is that noise? - is it trade with the US (irrelevant to FEVR but mentioned once by our herotozerotrev)? - is it the Fed's relaxed stance? - is it Brexit? - is that the worry of growth (as discussed above) "dropping off for 2018"? Answers on a post-card! | sogoesit
