Takeover this afternoon with a proverbial suitcase of tax-free cash might be 50p 'wash and go'.

In reality it would be far more than that. Why would VRB or Bridgen and Kuznetsov sell out for 50p or 75p or 100p even, when very basic fundamentals analysis suggests that it could easily be 500p in approx 4 years' time?

VRB have done well though, trebled their multi million investment in just 2 days LOL!!

The Brokers who put together FAR / Mick Davis deal have a 171p price target

Usually you might discount Broker targets but if they 'sold' the story to Mick Davis maybe it is worth paying attention ?

I think the biggest news is that VRB are willing to buy at higher pricesAs well as the chairman on board

This could easily become a takeover target. With Sir Mick's contacts this would be the smallest and easiest deal he could ever make!! Current market cap £79m, I'd guess any suitors would be paying multiples! Some people still haven't grasped the enormity of yesterday's news. Can become the biggest and cheapest producer of vanadium in the world. And investment from Sir Mick - former CEO of xtrata, and Tony Trahar- former CEO of Anglo American!! It's impossible to buy more, otherwise I'd be selling some of my other holdings to buy here, it's only going one way with the Green Revolution.

Not knocking FAR as they do have potential but BMN in comparison is a screaming buy right now. Should pop soon.

Not that many years away from major production GAH. About 2 in fact.In reality FAR are already producing vanadium and that production (when fully stable later this year) can support today's share price in the 20ps. The massive V mine is thrown in for free.NAI

Crazy valuation for a company years away from meaningful production. BMN next to go on a big run to 40p. Currently producing 20 times more Vanadium than FAR. On a like for like basis BMN needs to re rate 200%, no brainer.

Look at my post #218... played out exactly as I hoped.Bridgen has played a blinder to be fair.Of course who knows what will happen to the share price in the next few hours/days/weeks. There is still a modest level of execution risk and political risk remaining to get this mine into production. But the financing risk has now been comprehensively crushed.NAI

Rerating under way. Even with the extra 90M shares, the company wouldn't be sold *today* for less than 50p, and that would be a bargain... even if the management would sell - which of course they won't, why would they? They will be targeting multiples of 50p when the full Stage 2 mine is in operation - plus fat dividends.

Frankly it wouldn't surprise me if the eventual divis when Stage 2 is in operation were something around today's share price (20p ish) every year - if things have gone to plan then the company will be a massive cash cow.

If I'm right then people buying today would get a 100% divi every year, in due course. Invest £30k today, and from 2025-6ish, you could be getting a £30k cheque every year, for the next 40 years. Enough to retire on for most people, especially if your house is paid off. That's my plan anyway - early retirement with FAR and EML...

Just my view of course, no advice intended, I don't have a crystal ball and nothing is risk-free in life!

Maybe I should come back to post 286 in 5 years' time and see if I was right LOL!

Sir Mick Davis commented:
"The Ferro Alloy Resources investment case is compelling, has an attractive risk profile and many qualities that are difficult to find in other mining investment opportunities. The Balausa Project has the potential to become the lowest cost producer of vanadium globally and to deliver highly attractive returns to its shareholders. This long-life asset benefits from access to excellent existing power and logistics infrastructure and has clear potential to achieve net-negative cash production costs - a unique quality in this industry.

"The strong investment case for vanadium is clear not only from a steel demand perspective, but even more when considering the huge potential for vanadium redox batteries to play an integral role in the establishment of reliable 'base-load' renewable energy, capable of reducing the world's reliance on fossil fuels. The Balausa Project is especially attractive in this respect given its production cost profile and the team's conservative long term price assumptions.

There are multiple near-term catalysts for the Company and I expect to see significant progress in the coming months."

You have to admit , NB pulled a rabbit out of the hat... well not NB to be exact. More that Co was approached after seeing the resource potential VRB will be calling all the shots now .

Senn1, you don't have to convince me mate, just read my posts from the very start of this board. My target is indeed now 500p, *if* all goes to plan of course, although I have a slightly longer timescale than you to reach it. I expect to still be here then, unless I go under a bus....

Read the RNS from yesterday look at Mick Davis and look at what he said about FAR it's assets and cost to produce.

Ignore the short term nut jobs on the boards who can't hold for seconds never mind months years to get real value.

This is a £2 to £5;stock once producing in 23. question is who buying now will hold for 2 years there will be jumps along the way to enjoy so it's simple.

I say again read Mick's words

Buy Hold

To me it is a wise strategy to top slice quick rises . These rarely go up , always a pullback at some point Like I said this could go higher still , but I just felt taking some off now
