Just put it down to the Christmas festivities. Thanks.

My uneducated take from that article is that the partnership between Feedback and Qure.AI needs to be signed. The two together should help enormously in the screening process of TB in India.

There were a few paragraphs similar to this:-

"Our study shows that the predictions made by the five algorithms significantly outperformed experienced human readers in detecting tuberculosis-related abnormalities."

ADVFN won't allow me to copy the link.

Ragnarr, I don't mind posts being repeated if they're relevant to FDBK. I think the link was for DVRG.

Yes thanks had a really good Christmas. Hope you did as well.

There is a new green covid test being distributed by the NHS from "orient gene's'
Has anyone used it and did you have difficulty in squeezing the tube to produce the drops of the solution ????

Morning all, I do hope everyone had a good Christmas. LR2 I hope your family have got over covid OK and Chopper,I do hope you eyesight is showing some signs of improvement. My house is finally mine again, after eating me out of house and home they have all dispersed back to various parts of the country.

Came across this article in the lancet relating to Qure.ai. Basically testing of several AI x-ray evaluation algorithms, Qure.ai came out in the top 2. Apologies Ged if this has already been posted. Also I have posted from iMac so hoping the link works.

Good to see they're talking to customers. Some good insights in this article:-

"The initial lightbulb moment came from our CEO, Dr Tom Oakley. Just about every time I speak to a clinician, we receive another idea though. Their feedback is invaluable – I must have spoken to at least 200 clinicians since I joined and that’s a lot of ideas. I really feel like we are representing them and I feel obligated to make Bleepa work and embed it in the NHS. We passionately believe that Bleepa can empower every clinician working in a healthcare setting. Given our heritage, we knew that we could create a mobile-based clinical-grade communication tool that provided diagnostic imaging, associated annotations and reports at a quality that would make a real difference to the day-to-day lives of clinicians in both primary and secondary care.

Since launching Bleepa it has been used to routinely seek second opinions, manage inpatient referrals, provide high-quality multi-disciplinary team meetings and manage COVID-19 care pathways, amongst others. It has been amazing to see the far-reaching impact to date and we look forward to growing this impact with as many hospitals and community diagnostic centres as possible."

Thank you, LR2.

All the best to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year.

Let’s also hope that FDBK does the business in 2022.

I do recall that story Chopper. Being a QPR fan, I always preferred Ron's cultured older brother Allan.

I hope the doctors can help with your vision problems, I have a vision problem with my right eye and much like yourself nobody will consider a surgical solution until the problem becomes a whole lot worse.

Anyway, I hope you have a terrific Christmas and a stunning New Year.

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Ged.
Vision much the same but I think there’s a very slight improvement.
Have to return to Addenbrookes mid-March. If no significant improvement by then they will consider surgery, although they try to avoid it if possible because of potential complications. More likely they’ll advise me to have permanent prisms incorporated into my prescription lenses.

On the subject of football and at the risk of boring LR2, who may remember reading this several years ago on the PPC threads:

Back in the sixties when Tommy Docherty was manager at The Bridge, Man United came down for a league game and Georgie Best was running rings round us.

At half time Docherty says to me: “Chopper, you’re going to have to take him out”. “But boss, what if I get sent off” says I.
“Don’t worry” says The Doc, “they’ll miss him a lot more than we’ll miss you”.

Charming!!!

Missed that tweet, Ducatiman, thanks. Daughter and grandson arrived earlier this week.

"Great to be able to present Bleepa to 70+ participants from the Telangana government and highlight the benefits of our platform and BleepaBox to India's TB screening programme with @tradegovuk in December"

Have a great Christmas all and thanks to all who contributed to this thread.

Next year should be a truly memorable one for Feedback Medical.

Hope your daughter is OK, LR2.

Hope your vision is better Chopper, but it was never that good at seeing the ball! George had to learn to jump 6ft high whenever you came near!

Merry Christmas Rag. Yes, next year certainly has the potential to be very exciting and rewarding but us LTH’ers have been saying that for a number of years.
Certainly if pilots metamorphose into contracts it will be.

“Continue watching this space”

It means even the most remote communities can still participate in screening programmes, with rapid, point-of-care diagnostics delivering results while the patient is still in attendance at the clinic.

Dr Tom Oakley, CEO of Feedback, said: “We are delighted to have AWS as a partner in our TB screening programme. This funding support will enable us to establish and subsequently scale the TB screening solution to citizens in rural locations across India.
