Can't believe the company would have arranged a meeting with analysts for early tomorrow morning and then not give them something meaty to analyse.

My Planned Care does not sound like Bleepa.

Thanks

I don't believe a word they say. I've heard it said that this lot are the most incompetent bunch that's ever been in power.

I've been in the system since before the pandemic for treatment on my knee. Had a pain in my hip which was hurting more, so had twelve months physio for that. Then it was back to my knee. Months with the physio. 9 week wait for an X-ray. Months to see a consultant. Now a twelve month wait for an op.

Total neglect of the NHS by successive Governments. Never enough investment. The nurses and doctors are brilliant. Just the admin procedures, the lack of staff and the lack of equipment.

One day late, not too bad after all.
I was not aware there are 69 CDCs already up and running.
I will have a proper read later thanks.

Sticks in your head that one.

HETT tomorrow, analyst meeting Thursday.

Likelihood of an RNS?

Re 9586 - Thank you for that childhood memory - they were good days.

I did indeed suggest a Thursday, Pete (see post #9527). It is generally regarded as the best day to release good news as it allows sufficient time for journalists to get business information and subsequent financial tips into newspapers' Sunday supplements. The supplements go to print early on a Friday, so bad news is generally released by companies on that day, thus avoiding all newsprint articles until at least four days later.

LR2 - Did you not recently suggest a Thursday but was unsure which one. Ha!
Your correct though, if there are no forward looking statements then the results to Nov will be mostly boring.

The Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak visited Kent Oncology Centre to mark the upcoming launch of ‘My Planned Care' – an online platform which will allow patients and carers to access tailored information ahead of planned treatment, including information on waiting times.

Thanks LR2. It is easy to misinterpret these articles about Sectra but it's only facilitating the sending of images. Bleepa allows the annotation of the images and also combines with Carelocker for the patient's record.

Most on here know that.

I had forgotten about the Analyst meeting and the results on Thursday, so thanks.

Precious little trading today considering the company is meeting for a briefing with analysts at 09:30 on Thursday.

Why arrange a meeting unless there is something significant to impart to them?

If it is nothing more than the results to the end of November '21 why bother?

Therefore, I must conclude that the company intend to discuss business going forward.

If the news is to be bad then why organize such a meeting? Better to keep silent and hope nobody notices the company.

But, if they have good news, then why not sing it out to the appointed souls gathered in place who, in turn, will spread the news to all and sundry?

Well, thats what I believe will happen.

I notice some are just catching up about the old announcement from Sectra. Would someone mind posting this over there:-

I asked permission to post this email from Tom Oakley on 5th October 2020. He is happy for me to post this. Hope this helps.

"Thank you for sending this through. We are aware of the Sectra offering in Manchester, this is complimentary to our offering with Bleepa and is aimed at creating a more accessible imaging archive that combines different imaging modalities. It will make it easier for Bleepa to roll to different sites in the region because we will have a single PACS vendor to integrate with and one that has a richer archive of different imaging studies for us to display to frontline users. The two solutions are addressing slightly different problems, the Sectra solution will help share imaging across the region but will not address the frontline workflow requirements in the way that Bleepa does."

That was a good find Gents. It may well be that we are heading towards a “CarlsbergR21; RNS.
Had a dream last night that the offer was 7p and buyers were still coming in.
Do dreams come true?

I think the main difficulty is to get excellent managers that are prepared to work with all the clinicians and are also relieved of any ability to indulge in pet projects. As I understand it, that has been a major problem when they are given any sort of open remit - they invent 'important' projects. Also the actual approval for projects needs to be taken outside a trust to a central or neutral point, otherwise the clinical director will hold too much sway.

Still a lot of dead wood and influence by people with authority based on their clinical authority over managerial matters, who shouldn't have it in the NHS.
