Researchers compared 29 million people after their first dose with one of the UK’s two main vaccines – the adenoviral Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA vaccine – with 1.76 million people who had a positive test for infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

They found an increased risk of thrombocytopenia (low platelet count), venous thromboembolism (VTE), and other rare arterial thrombotic events for short intervals after a first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine and of arterial thromboembolism and ischaemic stroke for a short time after a first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. However, the risk of these adverse events were much higher following infection with SARS-CoV-2.

Most significantly, cases of VTE occurred at a rate of 12,614 per ten million people infected with SARS-CoV-2– compared with 66 per ten million people who received the AstraZeneca adenoviral vaccine. For ischaemic stroke, they estimated there were 143 excess cases per ten million people who received the Pfizer vaccine, versus 1,699 excess cases for every ten million people infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Rag - Your recent post just shows how weak and gullible you really are and you have the cheek to call me a conspiracy theorist with a twisted mind. I really did have a good chuckle at your post.
You are readily dismissing a report by an acclaimed heart organisation, be it even a preliminary one, and then quoting me an article from a fact checker as bible. Are you attempting to just amuse me or something?
And for you information, I did not present their study as fact. My intention was to show that science is not united on this subject as some others believe and there is a wide range of opinions from specialists in the field and very serious concerns.
The sensible thing to do would be listen to a wide range of opinions from experts and then make up your mind. This is informed consent, something Yump knows nothing about.
You cannot mandate any form of medical intervention, particularly one which is still at the research stage, or introduce passport style documentation otherwise you are excluded from society. How long before we need them to enter supermarkets or the local corner shop? This is complete madness and anyone supporting these ideas will be answerable to future generations.

"Unknown"

That will be "them" then. I think we should be told what's going on. Open your eyes and smell the coffee.

Whatever. Bad day I'm afraid.

One of my favourite sites for Coronavirus statistics is Worldometer. They have a table by country for numerous covid statistics. What always jumps out at me are the reported figures for China. Based on what is shown, I can only conclude that (1) China is lying about the number of citizens afflicted and dead or (2) the local populace has a built in immunity to the virus.

Here's the table:

The worst hit countries for deaths per million population are Peru (5991), Bulgaria (4260), and Bosnia & Herzegovina (3962). The least affected countries tend to be a few small island nations with no deaths but also down in single figures is China with 3 deaths per million.

"There are lies, damned lies, and statistics".

PK - your recent 'statement' just shows your twisted view of the world. You state as if it is a fact when it is from one preliminary study that isnt even a published paper. yet you choose to believe that one unsubstantiated claim whilst choosing to ignore all other studies. I cannot comprehend how you or your fellow conspiracy theorists minds works Here are the facts.https://fullfact.org/health/covid-vaccines-heart-disease/

Do you not understand that picking out individual things that support your views, such as specific deaths, is not proof or even evidence of anything.

I’ll keep asking you the same question: how do you yourself decide which bits of medical science you are going to take advantage of and which are rubbish.

Really interested in your answer.

Recent data from the Netherlands and France suggest that of the patients with coronavirus who are admitted to intensive care units (ICU), 30-70% develop blood clots in the deep veins of the legs, or in the lungs.

Around one in four coronavirus patients admitted to ICU will develop a pulmonary embolism.

These rates are much higher than we would usually see in patients requiring admission to ICU for reasons other than COVID-19.
Greater risk of stroke

Patients who present to hospital with COVID-19 are also more likely to have a stroke when compared with the general population.

Typically, the chance of having a stroke is associated with increasing age, as well as other risk factors such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, or smoking.

However, higher rates of strokes in patients with COVID-19 is somewhat unusual because it also seems to be happening in people under 50 years of age, with no other risk factors for stroke.
Low levels of oxygen

COVID-19 also appears to be associated with blood clots in the tiny blood vessels that are important for the transfer of oxygen in organs. Autopsy reports have shown elements of SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing COVID-19, in cells lining these small blood vessels in the lungs, kidney, and gut.

This may result in tiny blood clots in these small blood vessels that disturb normal blood flow and the ability of the blood to deliver oxygen to these organs.

Importantly, these small blood clots could reduce normal lung function. If these small blood clots reach the lungs it may prevent oxygen getting into the blood as efficiently as normal. This may explain why patients with severe COVID-19 can have very low oxygen levels.

In the old days of science, pre 2020, any drug causing such injuries and fatalities would be stopped in its tracks.
Last week the American Heart Association said:

“the risk of developing acute coronary syndrome (ACS) increases significantly in patients who receive mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. mRNA COVID Vaccines Dramatically Increase Endothelial Inflammatory Markers and ACS Risk as Measured by the PULS Cardiac Test: a Warning.’

Would you then believe that this report had been taken down and censored by every social media platform. The American Heart Association Ffs!

No doubt Yump will be thrilled.

He said the diagnosis was 'very rare' with only 260 cases in the UK and when it causes bleeding around 70 to 75 percent of patients die.

The hospital was not aware of the diagnosis until 'after the event' because it is a test that has to be done at Bristol, Dr Thomas said. He added that discussions with experts in this field confirmed Mr Bounds had vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia.

That is a very sad case. 260 cases out of 51,161,757 is very unfortunate.

Not aware of the diagnosis.

Would Bleepa have helped in this case?

I could happily provide evidence into the thousands but I am sure that is not desired here. Readers are encouraged to carry out their own dd on the subject before queuing up for the next round of jabbing and playing Russian roulette with their bodies.
The ex chief scientist of Pfizer, Dr Mike Yeadon, ruined his career by turning whistle blower. His findings will shock even the likes of Yump.
Excess deaths, not linked with covid, are going through the roof. Fit athletes and healthy children are suddenly dying and having medical episodes (heart problems) on the field of play, in classrooms and corridors.
But there is nothing to see Yump.
