04/10/2005 14:38 | good idea GB - awaiting a response from you | mr.oz
04/10/2005 11:50 | it is quite ridiculous that a 200k sale should drop the price by 5%. wonder when this share price will get some traction upwards. post ofex listing of agi i imagine | pljohnson
02/10/2005 08:48 | It doesn't have to but it could be. Does any one have an exact date for Novembers float yet? | encarter
01/10/2005 08:56 | thats what I was thinking. Would this have to be corrected?? | pljohnson
30/9/2005 22:57 | Maybe a typo rollover? | encarter
28/9/2005 12:09 | Beware folks............... | mercedes
25/9/2005 22:20 | It's just been overlooked which happens sometimes, our time will come soon. Duss yes i'm in the same boat, lots of bargains out there. | encarter
24/9/2005 19:48 | I cannot understand why the BB is not on fire with excitement about EPE and the prospects for future growth [imho] following yesterdays announcement. | timely
23/9/2005 07:39 | It looks like the float will be november and EPE will hold 20% by then. This years £2.4m profit came from 5,000 students but they have now doubled this to 10,000 and will have 20,000 by 2007. I think EPE have got a bargain. | encarter
23/9/2005 07:37 | I see the directors have now stumped up £300,000 at 1p convertible - I would expect this investment to make them a killing within the coming months. With convertable loan now confirmed (i.e. its not a placing into market) we should see a re-rating. Only downside is the high interest rate of 10% though this simply means they can convert into a few more shares in the long run. encarter - did look at ZAR and if I had some spare specultive funds I would invest, but I'm all over the place at the momement waiting for about 10 stocks to come in...the first to move I think ZAR is next on the list | dusseldorf
15/9/2005 10:07 | Dus, off topic, take a look at ZAR and let me know what you think. I already hold but i'm considering a top up and would value you opinion. They have £2.5m cash and are looking for a deal in the oil sector or a RTO. They also plans to float their gold exporation subsidiary and offer ZAR shareholders a piece. | encarter
14/9/2005 17:30 | you have to factor in the dilutionary effect of the impending placement, even so, good value given the market area | dusseldorf
14/9/2005 13:10 | Done the maths I reckon when AGI Floats this will be about 2p or should be. Giving AGI a market cap of 20 million epe should have 20% by then so epes stake would be worth 4 million which is double todays mkt cap. This doesnt put any value on epes other assets or interests so we could be nearer 3p. | rbonnier
14/9/2005 09:54 | RBonnier do the math. They have a 12%, soon to be 20% stake in a rapidly growing company which has just posted a POST tax profit of £2.4m and is about to float. With a reasonable P/E, what is a fair float price and what will be the value of EPE's investment? On top of that they own 100% of E2000 and they are seeking additional investment opportunities in China. All of which will be creating more than a glimmer of hope and a great deal of interest. | encarter
14/9/2005 09:44 | ...and another | dusseldorf
14/9/2005 09:31 | I bought 100,000 at 1.2 just now....to keep an interest. Looks promising especially with the investment floatation. | dusseldorf
14/9/2005 09:24 | And the only interest so far is yet another sell!!!! Does anyone have any idea when there may be a glimmer of hope and some interest in this stock rather than just sellers.? | rbonnier
14/9/2005 09:16 | I think the epe stake should be worth a little more, perhaps 3.0mn 06 profit x12 pe at 12% epe stake = 4-5mn, possibly more if earnings grow and they get a higher pe. anyone know a standard pe for established education and then there is the revaluation of the renminbi | pljohnson
14/9/2005 09:03 | Only comfort from the results is significant increase in group turnover and their investmemnt in AGI (who have just posted a 2.4m profit and are expanding student numbers from 8000 to 20000) will be worth 3.5m when they float but EPE market cap is still only 2m, oh and they are seeking additional investment opportunities in China. | encarter
14/9/2005 08:11 | np your right - the ofex float if well handled will cause real interest | pljohnson
14/9/2005 08:09 | There wont be any rush to buy these this morning! Only comfort from the results is things havnt gone pear shaped as the share price suggests! | rbonnier
14/9/2005 07:46 | Things are progressing nicely and more good news to follow with the AGI float and "Following the success of this investment, I am pleased to report that our China based team is seeking additional investment opportunities in China." | encarter |
