The comments coming from Gordon Brown re China and the agreement to allow Chinese students to stay for a further year post education bodes well for our little company.

I get the feeling we are in right at the beginning, which for most of us is a rare experience>>>>

Did anyone hear Gordon Brown speaking yesterday about the UKs trading with China and the fact that education is one of our best prospects for growth in trade. Sounds like EPE are in the right market at the right time imho.

I have answered my own question. Just read the announcement from 20 Dec. SIIT is where the students should come from - wonder how the transaction due diligence is going. EPE were expecting completion arounf end January - so perhaps the price rise is because the transaction is about to finalise.

Hopefully we will get an rns to confirm this soon. Dont forget, epe are viewed a little carefully after the first language school purchase went bad in 2004. But they got an excellent deal with English 2000 and look to have done a solid deal with SIIT.

MI growing and developing through variety of contacts

Cash 750k approx and

The great China connection, that I think a lot of people believe could be one of the next bubble sectors.

Either way its good to see the rise.

The directors are working with a hands on approach and applying a little experienced management style. English 2000 is being 'upgraded'. And it appears to be showing in the share price too!

in case anyone missed the news this morning; britain is relaxing restrictions on chinese tourists. this will ofcourse encourage more chinese to learn english. ahh i love it when things just seem to go in the right direction! but shareprice could do with a move in the right direction, though. (or should that be doh!)
