17/8/2005 08:37 | sorry to be misleading I meant their share is 420k out of 3.5mn | pljohnson
17/8/2005 08:24 | They don't get a share of 420k they get it all don't they? Also i think they will take up the other 8% very shortly which will be a further leap in EPE's value. | encarter
17/8/2005 08:19 | Holding 250k of these Im hoping these dont go up till next month when I have funds to top up this is real value at this level. | rbonnier
17/8/2005 08:08 | and we have reached 100 | pljohnson
17/8/2005 08:07 | Yes I would say so. Given that their current stake cost 994k (which was mostly 56mn shares at 1.5p) and for that they now have a share of 420k annual profit in a business that is substantially expanding. I dont know what the agi profit for 2006 will be but you may guess at around 5mn giving epe a share of 600k. My guess for pe would be 15x and to be cautious using 2005 earnings suggests a mkt cap of 6.3mn (re epe stake). Some future growth would have to be factored in, but I suppose also the fact that agi may look to raise some funds from the market diluting the current holdings. But if you reduce the pe to reflect this to say 10x you still get 4.2mn which is nearly double current cap. Any other thoughts | pljohnson
17/8/2005 08:00 | When SIIT float the value of EPE's investment will easily double. | encarter
17/8/2005 07:56 | only time will tell | pljohnson
17/8/2005 05:45 | Lets hope so. | timely
16/8/2005 20:21 | in other words I think we are undervalued, and if you factor in english 2000 and its profit of say 200k pa at 15x you get an extra 3mn or 9.3mn in total. Now of course the epe overheads have to come out of the above and you need to reflect on the extent of growth available across the epe portfolio. and then consider if 15x is fair. But all in all I think we ought to have a market cap around the 7-8mn mark. any other opinions | pljohnson
16/8/2005 20:18 | well, although you could and I do level some criticism at the epe team for not properly explaining the failure to take up the option in June, the results of SIIT and its ofex listing look good and bode well. with profit at 3.5mn that is 420k for epe and assuming a pe of say 15X gives a potential value for epe piece of 6.3mn... and whats our current value - 2.4mn ish suggests things could get interesting. | pljohnson
15/8/2005 09:03 | I think they were negotiating such per July announcement | pljohnson
15/8/2005 08:49 | Think theyve been granted an extension on that if someone wants to check | venomousviper
13/8/2005 12:59 | Why did they let the option to buy another 8% of AGI expire at the end of June? Cashflow problems, carelessness or is it not doing as well as expected? | tyranosaurus
12/8/2005 20:30 | I uadn't realised there was a link between AGI and epe. Thanks for the info. and yes that would surely stir the pot! | timely
12/8/2005 19:03 | flotation of agi the holding co of siit on ofex in autumn per www.londonasia.com newsletter. could things finally be warming up??? | pljohnson
10/8/2005 11:45 | No Its heading for Lord Butterstocks dreaded Dustbin.! | venomousviper
08/8/2005 10:33 | And Down again think this may be heading for a sub 1 million market cap. | rbonnier
07/8/2005 11:53 | I agree - its far too quiet for a growth stock. | timely
06/8/2005 19:08 | I have to say that given the price slippage after the rerating and more recently the lack of comment from the management is disappointing. We are supposed to be a growth business with a range of possibilities. Yet we are as quiet as a mouse and just letting the market pull us down. Come on guys get a trading update in the market and get this price stimulated.... | pljohnson
11/7/2005 16:44 | Up a little more today. Are we at last making some progress? | pljohnson
06/7/2005 17:30 | It seems the trades were stifled by the move up and adjustment of online limits. Could only buy 150k but sell 500k this afternoon. About time the share price reflected the inherent value in the business. We will see what happens... Cheers IMHO PLJ | pljohnson
06/7/2005 09:35 | another 100k mm buy. well the return to above 1p didnt take long. | pljohnson
06/7/2005 08:20 | 1mn mm buy just | pljohnson
05/7/2005 22:59 | Idle Dont really know just mulling over the possibilities. You are probably right a bit premature. But we always try and reason the price movements based on logic. But mm logic to me is usually illogical. Waffling - sorry | pljohnson
05/7/2005 22:29 | Lock in will be over at the end of august - are you saying MMs are expecting them to offload immediately ?(bit premature on the MMs part) Frustrating as hell saying the shoot up we saw on the news of the acquisition at the start of March. I'm for holding at the minute, but I dont think we'll know where we are until we're into September | idle_speculation |
