28/3/2013 13:17 | They just get the hole. | 5bag
28/3/2013 13:13 | ...and what happens to female investors? | careful
28/3/2013 12:47 | enrc controlling shareholders only need to make some serious concessions with regards to the share float and corporate governance and these shares will rebound. it would no doubt dilute their holdings as would a rights issue. the shares can easily be driven down by traders, but the value of their share of the assets still survives. who cares about the share price as warren buffett says. it is the net worth stupid. still, it is a test of nerve and patience. similar with KAZ that I bought today. KAZ are related as they own 25% of ENRC. they wrote down the value of their holding to 360p per share this week. | careful
28/3/2013 10:01 | of course this will rise later today as hedgies trading short close positions over easter. am i right or am i right? | careful
28/3/2013 09:59 | i read the companies statement with the results. there was no mention of a rights issue, just some obscure statement saying that firm plans on future funding were in place. some kid journalist in the Times inventing a scoop and speculating is a useless source. who knows he may be right. but not yet. i am sure some hedge fund taking short positions would not bung him to write it, they are decent, honest, innocent, blameless people. | careful
28/3/2013 09:02 | added to my collection of odd shares today. just bght some KAZ and LMI. already own ENRC. great investors stand out from the crowd. | careful
27/3/2013 21:21 | Why is the RI news to anyone. This has been in the public domain that they need to get up to 25% for many years. Equally given the quality of some of the core assets who is to say it won't be above current levels? Especially if metal prices tick up or assets preform better. Worth nothing is although new public [free float] shares need to be offered could this not be a sale by some of the private share holders like KAZ, the Kazah SWF or the founders, thus no dilution? | p bear
26/3/2013 22:55 | I expect this and KAZ to be SMASHED when the RI is announced. See The Times article. Looking forward to picking this up at around 1.50p. Good luck, you're going to need it. | smurfy2001
26/3/2013 13:19 | A graph to compare and contrast is KAZ. I'm holding paper at the moment and I'm fairly nervous at having caught the knife...for today. Although I believe there are reasons to feel cheerful about future prospects they don't include Penycae's better half being a major shareholder! CFB P.S. Apologies to your real better half ;) | cfb2
26/3/2013 13:05 | to prove that i am consistent i also bght some more av. today. breaking even on these, a recent punt. | careful
26/3/2013 13:02 | Don't worry careful, me and the monkey own the other half of this company between us. Got a shedload of these. Holding the paper rather than margined, so taking it all as it comes. Nothing wrong here, just very much in play at the moment. Some fundies are making a fortune out of this (and AV). Take a leaf out of Warren's book....... Bought my last lot at 278.5. Thought that was a good price, until this morning. | penycae
26/3/2013 12:58 | I think we have seen the bottom today careful. | shugsy
26/3/2013 12:50 | i am still underwater on the lot to the tune of 13% including charges. and in a short time period at that. pleased to see it recovering right now. it would be great if it could finish up today. | careful
26/3/2013 11:59 | A very brave man. Must be nursing heavy paper losses. Hope it turns around for you. | shugsy
26/3/2013 09:56 | it is risky and takes a sort of reckless courage. but when i look at lonmin and enrc i think that it would be smart to buy really heavy at todays price. i saw RIO fall to below £10 and XTA to below £5 in the recent past but dare not pull the trigger. the shares were falling, high debt, negative stories all put me off. there they are today..ENRC and Lonmim. am i a man or a mouse? | careful
26/3/2013 09:48 | still further to fall yet. | karmastuartra
26/3/2013 09:43 | falling off a cliff, i got burnt here in november, now it's lower. | 2bung
26/3/2013 09:09 | me too. i topped up at 2.399p. my average price is down a bit. i figured that the volume today is very low despite the fall. there is no real news. the net assets of $11bn (net of debt) trading at $4.5bn. a rights issue will strengthen the company. | careful
26/3/2013 09:03 | There are in negotation for a $700m debt facility and the RI is, currently, off the cards again. careful: I'm now long at 241p although I've only put half my investment in at this stage. I'm not one to catch a falling knife but that blip down was too good to miss. Sadly, the way this is plummeting there's likely to be another chance :) CFB | cfb2
26/3/2013 08:31 | Lol you posted it... careful 17 Mar'13 - 10:55 - 915 of 969 0 0 £400m rights issue being planned according to sunday times. | smurfy2001
25/3/2013 15:24 | what rights issue? | careful |
